What complications does kidney cancer induce

Kidney cancer is one of the more serious diseases in life. Quite a number of factors can induce the occurrence of kidney cancer, and it will disturb the patient's normal life. We should guard against the occurrence of kidney cancer, and we must have a thorough understanding of the complications caused by kidney cancer. The following will introduce to you what the complications of kidney cancer may be. Let's get to know them together.

Complications of kidney cancer:

1. Renal cysts: Typical renal cysts are easily distinguished from renal cancer in imaging examinations, but when there is bleeding or infection in the cyst, it is often easily misdiagnosed as a tumor. Some renal clear cell carcinomas have uniform internal structures and weak low echoes, and are easily misdiagnosed as very common renal cysts during physical examination screening.

2. Renal hamartoma, also known as renal angiomyolipoma, is a relatively common benign renal tumor. With the widespread development of imaging examinations, it is increasingly seen in clinical practice. Due to the presence of fat components in typical hamartomas, qualitative diagnosis can be made on B-ultrasound, CT and MRI images, and it is easy to distinguish from renal cell carcinoma clinically. Tumor Treatment Transformation points out that B-ultrasound of renal hamartoma shows that there are medium-strong echo areas in the mass, and CT shows that there are areas with negative CT values in the mass, which are still negative after enhanced scanning. Angiography shows that after injection of adrenaline, the tumor blood vessels shrink together with the blood vessels of the kidney itself; B-ultrasound of renal cell carcinoma shows that the mass is medium-low echo, and the CT value of the mass is lower than that of normal renal parenchyma. After enhanced scanning, the CT value increases, but not as obvious as normal renal tissue. Angiography shows that after injection of adrenaline, the blood vessels of the kidney itself shrink, but the tumor blood vessels do not shrink, and the characteristics of the tumor blood vessels are more obvious.

3. Renal lymphoma. Renal lymphoma is rare but not uncommon. Dimopoulos et al. reported that among 210 patients with renal tumors, 6 were primary renal lymphoma. Renal lymphoma lacks imaging characteristics, presenting as multiple nodules or diffuse moist kidneys, which enlarges the kidneys. Retroperitoneal lymph nodes are often affected. Among the 4 patients admitted to our institute in recent years, 3 were not diagnosed before surgery, and the other was confirmed to have this disease by preoperative puncture biopsy.

4. Renal xanthogranuloma, according to tumor treatment experts, is a rare and special type of severe chronic renal parenchymal infection. There are two morphological manifestations: one is diffuse, with enlarged kidney volume, abnormal morphology, and disordered internal structure, which is not easily confused with tumors; the other is focal, with localized solid nodular echoes in the kidney, which lacks specificity and is sometimes difficult to distinguish from tumors. However, these patients generally have symptoms of infection, tender masses in the kidney area, and a large number of white blood cells or pus cells in the urine. As long as careful observation is made, differential diagnosis is not difficult.

After reading the above content, everyone knows the complications caused by kidney cancer. The occurrence of kidney cancer will bring more pain to patients, and therefore cause considerable damage to the patient's kidneys. We need to have an in-depth understanding of kidney cancer and must have a thorough understanding of the complications induced by this disease.
