For this question, the answer is clear: cervical cancer is not contagious. Cervical cancer is one of the common gynecological malignancies, and its incidence rate is second only to breast cancer, making it the second most common malignant tumor in women. Although most HPV infections are subclinical (asymptomatic), they can still be transmitted and spread. The most common outcome of cervical HPV infection is that there are no obvious clinical manifestations, and HPV can only be detected in the short term. The average infection time for non-tumorigenic HPV is 8.2 months, and for tumorigenic HPV it is as long as 13.5 months.
