Will wearing an IUD cause uterine cancer?

Will wearing an IUD cause uterine cancer?

The symptoms after having an IUD are very similar to the early symptoms of uterine cancer. Many people believe that having an IUD induces uterine cancer. Is this true? We invited experts from the Cancer Hospital to give us a detailed introduction to the relationship between uterine cancer and IUDs.

Are the symptoms after having an IUD inserted a sign of uterine cancer?
After a contraceptive ring is placed in the uterine cavity, some women may have a small amount of vaginal bleeding within 3 or 5 days, or a slightly heavier menstrual flow in the first 2 months. This is normal. As long as a period of time passes, these conditions will disappear. However, if you still have frequent abdominal pain and heavy vaginal bleeding after the placement of the contraceptive ring, and these symptoms last for more than a week, you should go to the hospital for further examination, find out the cause, and receive necessary treatment.
Will having an IUD induce uterine cancer?
Experts say that contraceptive rings do not cause uterine cancer, but uterine cancer is the most common tumor in women, and anemia is also one of the common diseases in women. The causes of these diseases are also multifaceted and extremely complicated. With the development of family planning, more and more women will use contraceptive rings. Among them, some people are inevitably suffering from anemia or uterine cancer due to some other reasons. However, it must be clear that this is not caused by the contraceptive ring, but just a coincidence.
Secondly, in order to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the contraceptive ring, scientists have conducted serious research on various contraceptive methods, and have proved through a lot of practice that the contraceptive ring is a simple, safe and reliable contraceptive method. A hospital once tested and examined women who had used the contraceptive ring for more than 10 years, and found that no women had cancer or other conditions that were not conducive to their health. Therefore, the claim that the contraceptive ring can cause uterine cancer has no scientific basis.
