What to do if you have advanced uterine cancer

Can uterine cancer be cured? Uterine cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women. For early-stage uterine cancer patients and their families, the cure rate of uterine cancer is a matter of great concern. As far as the current treatment status is concerned, uterine cancer is still a major unsolved problem in medicine. However, this does not mean that having uterine cancer means a death sentence. There are also many clinical cases of long-term survival after treatment.

Experts point out that the cure rate of early uterine cancer depends mainly on whether appropriate treatment is taken in time. Early uterine cancer tumors are small and have not spread or metastasized. The most effective treatment is surgical resection. Extensive total hysterectomy is the main surgical method for early uterine cancer, usually combined with pelvic lymph node dissection to eliminate adjacent cancerous tissue. After surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, biological therapy and other treatments can be used for a certain period of time to prevent recurrence.

How to treat advanced uterine cancer: Generally speaking, advanced uterine cancer has already metastasized and cannot be surgically removed. Clinically, biological treatment can be used to prolong the patient's survival and improve the quality of life!

The cure rate of uterine cancer is also closely related to the patient's physical function. Only with good physical function and strong immunity can one resist the development of cancer and tolerate various drug treatments. Therefore, it is extremely important for patients with uterine cancer to improve immune function and enhance resistance to tumors. In terms of diet, patients with uterine cancer should supplement their intake of carotene and vitamin C; supplement trace elements zinc and selenium; and eat more soybeans and their products.

Therefore, everyone must pay more attention to the changes in the body in daily life. Once the body feels unwell, it should be checked and treated in time at the hospital. Only in this way can uterine cancer be discovered, diagnosed and treated early, and uterine cancer can be cured as much as possible!
