How does cervical cancer develop

What are the causes of cervical cancer? Cervical cancer has gradually become a disease that threatens women's lives. When female friends suffer from cervical cancer, if they do not receive proper treatment, they may lose their lives due to this disease. Therefore, we need to pay attention to cervical cancer. So what are the causes of cervical cancer? Let's learn about it together!

(1) Relationship with sex life and marriage First of all, we need to understand that if female friends start having sex too early, the chance of developing cervical cancer will greatly increase. Women with many sexual partners are also more likely to develop cervical cancer. Women who have sex too early (before the age of 18) have a cervical cancer incidence rate that is four times higher than those who start having sex after the age of 18. Women who start having sex early and have sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis and gonorrhea are six times more likely to develop cervical cancer than normal women. It has been confirmed that if women have sex with multiple men, they are more likely to develop cervical cancer. Virgins rarely develop cervical cancer.
(2) Relationship with spouse: If the male partner's foreskin is too long and hides some bacteria, then during sexual intercourse, it may lead to the occurrence of cervical cancer. Some people believe that the wife of a husband with a long foreskin or phimosis has a higher relative risk of cervical cancer. The chances of a man's wife suffering from penile cancer or prostate cancer or his ex-wife suffering from cervical cancer, as well as a man with a sexual partner, will increase.
(3) Viral or fungal infection. Women usually do not pay attention to their own body hygiene, which leads to bacterial growth and then the occurrence of cervical cancer. Patients need to pay attention to this. Herpes simplex virus type II, human papillomavirus, human cytomegalovirus and fungal infection may be related to the occurrence of cervical cancer. However, which virus is the main cause or which viruses are likely to cause cervical cancer in combination have not yet been resolved.
(4) Socioeconomic status and smoking Cervical cancer often occurs in women with low socioeconomic status. Women who smoke have a 2-fold increased chance of developing cervical cancer compared to non-smokers. In addition, different living habits in different regions may also affect the incidence of cervical cancer. Women's low immune function and adverse mental factors are all related to the occurrence of cervical cancer.
