When cleaning the range hood, you may not know that the mesh cover should also be cleaned. Because if the mesh cover on the range hood is not cleaned, the effect of the range hood in filtering oil fumes will be greatly reduced, and it may even fail to filter the oil fumes after cooking every day. 1. Pressure cooker steam flushing method. Boil the cold water in the pressure cooker. When steam is continuously discharged, remove the pressure limiting valve, turn on the range hood, and aim the steam column at the rotating fan blades. As the high-temperature steam continuously rushes into the fan blades and other parts, the oily water will flow into the waste oil cup until there is no oil in the oil cup.

2. Detergent and vinegar soaking method. Remove the impeller of the range hood and soak it in a basin of warm water mixed with 3-5 drops of detergent and 50 ml of vinegar. Soak it for 10-20 minutes, then wipe it with a clean rag. The housing and other parts are also cleaned with this solution. This method does not damage human skin or corrode devices, and the surface still maintains its original gloss after cleaning.

3. Apply soap solution on the surface. Make the soap into a paste, and then apply it on the surface of the impeller and other components. After the range hood has been used for a period of time, remove the impeller and other components, wipe them with a rag, and the oil stains will fall off.

The most important thing about a range hood is its daily maintenance. When you finish cooking the last dish, do not turn off the switch immediately. Allow the range hood to expel the remaining oil and gas as much as possible. After turning off the switch, wipe the surface of the range hood while the oil and gas are still hot, making it easiest to clean.

Put the oil pump mesh cover and oil collecting box into a large basin, add clean water, and make sure the water can completely immerse the oil pump mesh cover. Soak for 15 minutes (if conditions permit, it is recommended to use warm water at about 50℃ for better results). The purpose is to soften the hardened oil stains. Then spray oil fume cleaner on the oily areas of the range hood and the oil collecting box. Do not put it in water and leave it for 1 minute.

At this time, the hard lumps of oil have been softened, and the soft oil has been liquefied. You can spray some oil fume cleaner on the waste toothbrush. Since the oil in the oil box is thicker, you need to continue to soften the oil. Brush the mesh cover first.
