For skin cancers such as squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma, the surgical scope is generally not large and no special care is required. Patients should be exposed to sunlight as little as possible. In terms of observing tumor recurrence, recurrence at the original site is more common than distant metastasis or regional lymph node metastasis. After discovering suspicious recurrence lesions, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis and surgery in time. The effect of reoperation is generally better. If surgery is difficult, radiotherapy can be performed.
Skin cancer has a tendency to occur multiple times. During care, the entire skin area should be closely observed frequently, with special attention paid to more hidden areas such as behind the ears. 2. Daily care for skin cancer: Avoid excessive direct sunlight and exposure in daily life, especially between 10 am and 3 pm, when the ultraviolet radiation is strongest. When outdoors, it is best to wear long-sleeved clothes and long pants, a hat, sunglasses, and use sunscreen products, preferably sunscreen with an SPF of 15.
