Can you tell brain cancer with your eyes?

Can brain cancer be seen with the eyes? There are many symptoms of brain tumors, some of which often cause mental abnormalities, emotional indifference, mental dullness, and memory loss are common, sometimes manifested as silly smiles, speech confusion, disorientation, and lack of self-control. Some people will have olfactory hallucinations, that is, smelling an odor that does not actually exist, and it is often some disgusting and strange odor. Some people will experience progressive vision loss, accompanied by dizziness and headaches, which are often mistaken for eye fatigue. Some people even have serious symptoms such as epilepsy, projectile vomiting, and hemiplegia.

1. Headache, nausea, and vomiting. Most brain tumor patients experience headaches, which usually occur at night and in the early morning, and are most painful when they wake up in the morning. Headaches can usually be relieved in the afternoon, but this is not the case with brain tumors. The headache is often the heaviest when waking up from a night's sleep, and it gradually eases after getting up. Headache symptoms worsen when coughing, sneezing, or defecating. Vomiting is usually projectile vomiting, and the headache is slightly relieved after vomiting. This type of vomiting is generally unrelated to diet.
2. Fundus edema The cause of papilledema is the increased intracranial pressure, which blocks the return of lymph fluid in the lymphatic sheath around the optic nerve, and the increased venous pressure of the optic nerve causes venous filling. When fundus edema occurs, it will have a certain impact on vision. Long-term damage to the optic nerve can cause optic nerve atrophy and blindness.
3. Vomiting is caused by direct pressure or stimulation of the medullary vomiting center or vagus nerve. This symptom is common in subtentorial tumors, especially in children. Vomiting is projectile and occurs frequently when the headache worsens. About 60% of brain tumor patients may vomit. Vomiting is not related to diet and is not necessarily accompanied by nausea before vomiting. The vomiting often occurs in the morning or when the headache is the most severe. The headache may be slightly relieved after vomiting.
