Analysis of the causes of rectal cancer

It is still not very clear, but most people think it is related to food or genetics. In the past decade, various studies have proved that the intake of acidic food is the culprit of cancer, and cancer is a representative of acidic body constitution. In terms of food, the intake of meat, protein and fat has increased a lot, and there is a clear trend of increasing colorectal cancer. Many patients in their thirties have colorectal cancer.

According to clinical and epidemiological investigations, it is generally believed to be related to the following aspects:

1. Dietary structure (acidic foods and alkaline foods): Cancer patients have a typical acidic constitution, and the origin of the acidic constitution is precisely the excessive intake of acidic foods or incorrect lifestyle habits. Cancer cells are typical acid-loving cells. The formation of an acidic constitution is the cancerization of normal cells, which is the doubling of the growth of already formed cancer cells. Epidemiological studies have shown that the occurrence of colorectal cancer is significantly related to economic conditions and dietary structure. The incidence rate is significantly higher in economically developed areas, regions and groups with a high proportion of animal fat and protein in the diet and a low cellulose content. The exact mechanism of the relationship between dietary structure and the occurrence of colorectal cancer is not yet fully understood. It is generally believed that it may be related to factors such as the metabolites of animal fat, bacterial decomposition products, and slowed intestinal peristalsis and increased intestinal toxin absorption due to a low-cellulose diet.

2. Colon polyps: Colon polyps can be divided into adenomatous polyps, hyperplastic polyps, inflammatory polyps and hamartomatous polyps. According to the histological structure of the polyps, adenomatous polyps can be divided into villous polyps and tubular polyps; according to the number of colon polyps and their heredity, adenomatous polyps can be divided into single, multiple and familial hereditary polyposis.

3. Chronic colorectal inflammation: Acidic constitution causes chronic ulcerative colitis, granulomas caused by chronic schistosomiasis, etc., which are directly related to the occurrence of colorectal cancer. The longer the course of the disease, the higher the possibility of colorectal cancer. The incidence of colorectal cancer in patients with ulcerative colitis for more than 20 years is about 30%.

4. Genetic factors: In addition to patients with colorectal cancer caused by familial polyposis or malignant transformation of ulcerative colitis, about 10% of other colorectal cancer patients have a clear family history of tumors, collectively known as hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer (Hereditary Nonpolyposis Colorectal Cancer, HNPCC), also known as Lynch syndrome. The specific manifestations are:

(1) Three or more family members have colorectal cancer, two or more of whom are from the same generation;

(2) At least two generations of the same family have been diagnosed with the disease;

(3) At least one of them was diagnosed with colorectal cancer before the age of 50.

In short, the formation of colorectal cancer is caused by many factors, the most critical of which is the acidification of body fluids, which creates a good living space for the growth of cancer cells. All external factors mainly work through the acidification of body fluids, so an acidic constitution is the real culprit of rectal cancer.
