The test method is to take a blood sample first, then inject HCG1,000-5,000 international units. The first blood sample is taken on the 4th day after the injection, and the second intramuscular injection of HCG2,000 international units is given. The second blood sample is taken on the 7th day. The three blood samples are taken for plasma testosterone determination. If the test result is positive, it indicates that the testicular tissue in the body has secretory function. If the test result is low, cryptorchidism or primary testicular insufficiency should be considered. If the reaction is negative, no contrary conclusion can be drawn immediately. The purpose of checking changes in HCG in the urine of female patients is to diagnose diseases such as early pregnancy, hydatidiform mole and choriocarcinoma.
