The cause of breast cancer is still unclear, but it is worth noting that scientists have summarized eight major risk factors for breast cancer: 1. Family inheritance A family history of hereditary breast cancer can take two forms: one is that if the mother has breast cancer, the daughter is more likely to develop breast cancer, with the onset at a young age, often occurring before menopause, and often bilaterally. The other is that the mother has never had breast cancer, but at least two sisters in the family have breast cancer. The incidence of breast cancer in family members of this type is 2 to 3 times higher than that of people without a family history, and often occurs after menopause, and is often unilateral. 2. Excessive miscarriage Normal spontaneous abortion does not increase the risk of breast cancer, but repeated artificial abortions, or multiple artificial abortions before the age of 18, are prone to breast diseases and increase the risk of breast cancer. 3. Menstrual factors For women whose menarche occurs before the age of 12, the risk of breast cancer is 2.2 times greater than that of women whose menarche occurs at the age of 17; for women whose menopause occurs after the age of 50, the risk of breast cancer is about 1 times greater than that of women whose menopause occurs after the age of 45. 4. Artificial feeding Breastfeeding is one of the best natural ways to prevent breast cancer. Breastfeeding can reduce the risk of breast cancer by 20% to 30%. 5. Poor quality of sex life Breast diseases are closely related to sexual life. Female sexual repression can increase the incidence of breast lobular hyperplasia and breast tumors. Surveys show that 86% of women with right breast lobular hyperplasia have never reached orgasm during sex; the older the age of first marriage, the higher the incidence of breast cancer. 6. Depression Single women, public relations ladies, retired female workers and some middle school teachers are more likely to suffer from breast diseases, especially breast cancer, because these women are prone to depression such as tension, anxiety, loneliness, depression, impatience and anger. Long-term negative emotional stimulation will disrupt the body's life rhythm, neuroendocrine system dysfunction, and thus cause imbalance in the internal environment and decreased immunity, making cancer more likely to occur. 7. Obesity Obesity is closely related to breast cancer. The incidence of breast cancer and other cancers in obese people is 3.45 times higher than that in non-obese people. Due to excessive fat accumulation, estrogen production increases. The excess estrogen is lipidated and stored in the adipose tissue and continuously released into the blood, stimulating the breast tissue. Over time, it can easily cause breast cancer. 8. Bad living habits They often smoke and drink alcohol, like to eat fried foods and various cakes and sweets, but never eat whole grains and vegetables; they are single or get married and have children after the age of 30, and are unwilling to breastfeed after giving birth; some women wear bras that are too tight or too loose, which loses the function of protecting their breasts. |
