Commonly used prescriptions for esophageal cancer include:

(1) Compound Donglingxi Tablets: Grind equal parts of Rabdosia rubescens and Sophora flavescens into tablets, take 3 times a day, 4-6 tablets each time, 3 months as a course of treatment. Both drugs can clear the throat and clear the esophagus. Long-term use can shrink the tumor and improve the indigestion.

(2) Zijin Ding: It originated from the "Surgery Authenticity" written by Chen Shigong in the Ming Dynasty. It is composed of Trillium, Gallnut, Qianjinzi Frost, Red Sprout Euphorbia, Cinnabar, Realgar, and Musk. It is also called Taiyi Zijin Dan. Because it contains many toxic ingredients, it is made into a tablet by beating glutinous rice paste. (3) Compound Cantharides Capsules: 9-16 Cantharides, 36 jujubes, 25g Angelica sinensis, 30g Astragalus, 20g Aquilaria sinensis, 15g Purple Broom, 20g Sichuan Panicles, 20g Fritillaria cirrhosa, 20g Herba Cynanchum, 20g Trichosanthis, 30g Atractylodes macrocephala, 30g Curcuma zedoaria, 30g Aconitum, 5g Apricot kernel, 30g Cuscuta australis, 20g Licorice. Preparation: Remove the head, feet, wings, breastplate and tail of the Cantharides, put them into pitted jujubes, wrap them with thread and place them in a pot, roast them over charcoal fire until the inside of the jujube turns red and yellow, dry them, grind them into powder, mix them with other Chinese medicine powder, and put them into capsules. Take 1 capsule twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
