Traditional Chinese medicine external application therapy for esophageal cancer

The TCM external treatments for esophageal cancer include:

(1) Topical medications

① Softening and dispersing plaster: More than 20 kinds of drugs such as Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, Fructus Trichosanthis, Rhizoma Chuanqie, Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, Powder of Xuanming, Semen Momordicae, Rhizoma Tripterygii, Rhizoma Bletillae, Radix Rehmanniae, Radix Astragali, Pollen, Rhizoma Aconiti Lateralis are boiled into plaster with sesame oil and Guangdan. When using, spread it on a cloth, sprinkle Sanjiandan (alum, borneol, camphor and other drugs) evenly, and stick it on the corresponding part of the lesion, or on the swollen lymph nodes. Change it once a week, it can eliminate lions, relieve pain, and has excellent efficacy.

② Toad Venom Gou: 20 kinds of Chinese medicinal materials including toad venom, raw Chuanwu, seven-leaf clematis, euphorbia, etc. are made into a plaster, which is applied to the affected area in the form of an adhesive plaster. It can relieve pain and eliminate tumors, with an effective rate of 92.5%.

(4) Massage therapy: As early as 1959, two cases of esophageal cancer were treated with massage therapy and their symptoms were significantly improved. In recent years, massage therapy has been developed as a new treatment in various places. Many doctors have verified its effectiveness as an auxiliary treatment for esophageal cancer.

There are more reports. It is generally believed that massage has a certain effect on chest and back pain caused by esophageal cancer and difficulty in swallowing food. Massaging the back acupoints can relieve the pain caused by chest and back cancer. Rubbing the Hegu and Zusanli acupoints can strengthen the body, open the diaphragm and reduce adverse reactions.
