Long-term constipation increases the incidence of cervical cancer in women

The incidence of cervical cancer in women is second only to breast cancer in terms of malignant tumors. The peak incidence of cervical cancer is around 50 years old and is showing a trend of getting younger. There are 450,000 to 500,000 new confirmed cases worldwide each year, of which 67% are in Asia, 12% in developed countries in Europe and America, 11% in Latin America, and 10% in Africa.

Constipation is a common stomach disease among modern people. However, long-term constipation can lead to cervical cancer in women. Causes of constipation: 1. The vitamins and fiber in the vegetables and fruits consumed daily are seriously insufficient. 2. A monotonous lifestyle and long-term lack of exercise. 3. Changes in the environment such as travel and pregnancy can also cause constipation. 4. Constipation may mean that there is a serious problem in the body. Intestinal stenosis caused by colon tumors can also often cause constipation.

For women, due to their own physiological reasons, long-term constipation can indeed lead to lesions in other parts of the body, especially it may increase the incidence of cervical cancer. Short-term constipation does not mean gastrointestinal abnormalities. When constipation occurs for more than three weeks or more, you should pay attention immediately and go to the hospital for relevant gynecological examinations.
