Men are at high risk of pancreatic cancer

Pancreatic cancer is a highly malignant tumor. Since there are no obvious symptoms in the early stage, it is already in the late stage when it is detected. In addition, the course of the disease is short, the progression is fast, and it is not sensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, so the mortality rate is extremely high. Therefore, we should maintain a good diet and lifestyle in our daily life to stay away from pancreatic cancer.

Most pancreatic cancer cases occur in men, while women are less likely to develop the disease. This is mainly because:

1. Chronic pancreatitis: When men suffer from pancreatitis, they often treat it hastily due to carelessness or high work pressure. They fail to receive standardized treatment, which leads to repeated attacks and chronic pancreatitis. Long-term adverse stimulation to the pancreas can induce pancreatic cancer.

2. Bad eating habits: Long-term irregular eating, even overeating, and men’s diet is generally high-fat, high-protein, all of which are high-risk factors for pancreatic cancer.

3. Irregular life: Irregular life habits such as frequent overtime work and staying up all night can easily induce pancreatic cancer.

4. Emotional factors: Generally speaking, men have greater stress in life, and some of them are not good at talking to their friends. The stress accumulates in their minds for a long time, which promotes the occurrence of pancreatic cancer to a certain extent.

Tips: If a middle-aged male over the age of 40 has symptoms such as frequent nausea and vomiting, and there is no effect after treatment for stomach problems, he needs to be highly alert to pancreatic cancer.
