What are the main symptoms of various types of lymphoma in traditional Chinese medicine

Lymphoma is a malignant tumor originating from lymph nodes or other lymphatic tissues. Its etiology is related to genetic, chemical, and immune factors. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that lymphoma belongs to the category of "stone carbuncle", "evil stranguria", "evil core", etc. The related etiology and pathogenesis include evil toxins, phlegm stagnation, and fire depression. This disease may be caused by exogenous cold and heat evil toxins, which stagnate in the body, heat and dryness, cold and phlegm stagnation, and long-term formation of this disease.

1. Yin-cold stagnation type: Yin-cold stagnates in the neck, with symptoms of swollen lymph nodes in the neck, which are painless and itchy, with normal skin color and hard as stone. It may be accompanied by fatigue, slightly cold limbs, tiredness and love of lying down, poor appetite, difficulty in swallowing food, or hiccups and chest tightness. The tongue is pale red with thick and greasy tongue coating, and the pulse is deep and fine.

2. Liver-Qi Stagnation Type: Depressed emotions lead to Qi-fire stagnation in the neck. Symptoms include enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, armpits and groin. The skin color is normal, and it does not move when pushed. There is no pain or itching. It is accompanied by irritability, chest tightness, swelling and pain in the flanks, weakness, thin tongue coating or petechiae, and a wiry or slippery pulse.

3. Liver-kidney yin deficiency type: symptoms include fever in the five parts of the body, bad temper, restlessness, hot flashes in the afternoon, weak waist, knees and legs, fatigue, weight loss, multiple swollen lymph nodes, red tongue, thin tongue coating, and deep and thin or small and stringy pulse.

4. Spleen deficiency type: symptoms include swelling and numbness in the neck, weakness in the limbs, pale complexion, poor appetite, loss of appetite, easy sweating, shortness of breath when moving, thin and greasy tongue coating, and weak and thready pulse.
