Traditional Chinese medicine relieves hematuria in bladder cancer patients

Bladder cancer refers to various malignant tumors originating from the bladder, which are related to smoking, long-term exposure to certain dyes, gasoline or other chemicals. Bladder cancer patients often have hematuria symptoms, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. Traditional Chinese medicine is particularly unique in treating hematuria.

Recipe 1: Steamed rabbit meat with Hedyotis diffusa

Ingredients: 30 grams of fresh Hedyotis diffusa, 30 grams of fresh thistle, 100 grams of coix seed, 150 grams of rabbit meat, and 5 candied dates.

Preparation: Remove fat from pork belly and chop into pieces; soak coix seeds in water until soft; wash other ingredients. Put all ingredients (except chicory) into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours; then add chicory and simmer for another 30 minutes. Season and serve.

Efficacy: Bladder cancer is caused by the invasion of heat and toxins, which forces blood to flow abnormally. Symptoms include repeated attacks of hematuria with bright red blood; accompanied by short, red, burning pain, frequent urination, bitter taste in the mouth, thirst, red tongue, thin yellow tongue coating, and a stringy and rapid pulse.

Recipe 2: White-British Pork Lean Meat Soup

Ingredients: 30 grams of fresh Bletilla striata, 20 grams of Poria cocos, 50 grams of adzuki beans, 30 grams of red dates, and 150 grams of lean pork.

Preparation: Remove fat from lean pork, wash and chop into pieces; soak red beans in water for half a day until they swell, wash and set aside; wash other ingredients. Put all ingredients into a pot, add appropriate amount of water, simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, season and serve.

Efficacy: Bladder cancer patients with damp-heat turbidity and toxins may suffer from hematuria, which is manifested by repeated appearance of bright red hematuria, short red urine without pain, frequent and urgent urination, bitter and greasy taste in the mouth; red tongue, white-yellow slightly greasy tongue coating, and stringy and rapid pulse.
