Experts explain the more common symptoms of ovarian cancer

After suffering from ovarian cancer, women will experience many symptoms, but some of the symptoms of ovarian cancer are very similar to intestinal diseases and are easy to misdiagnose, which is very unfavorable for the treatment of ovarian cancer. So what are the more common symptoms of ovarian cancer ? Let's ask experts to tell you about the more common symptoms of ovarian cancer.

Common symptoms of ovarian cancer include:

1. Gastrointestinal discomfort: Symptoms of ovarian cancer often manifest in the gastrointestinal tract. Almost all patients seek medical attention due to abdominal distension, poor appetite, reduced diet or significant weight loss. If ascites occurs, abdominal distension will be more obvious and abdominal pain may also occur.

2. Abdominal tumors: Most patients accidentally feel a tumor in the lower abdomen when they wake up in the morning with a full bladder. If the tumor grows rapidly or ascites appears, it should be highly suspected to be a symptom of ovarian cancer. However, when the tumor is small (less than or equal to 7 cm), it is often difficult to feel it yourself and can only be found through B-ultrasound examination. It should be understood that ovarian cancer tumors can also be less than or equal to 5 cm. Regular gynecological cancer prevention examinations are indeed necessary. If an ovarian tumor of about 5 cm is found, regular follow-up and close observation are required.

3. Menstrual changes: About 1/2 of ovarian cancer patients have irregular menstruation and irregular vaginal bleeding, which are common symptoms of ovarian cancer. Clinically, it has also been found that people with ovarian dysfunction, such as delayed menarche and early menopause, dysmenorrhea, singleness, infertility or a family history of ovarian cancer are more susceptible to this disease.

4. Compression symptoms: Larger pelvic masses often cause obvious compression symptoms. Symptoms of ovarian cancer include frequent urination, urgent bowel movements, anal blockage, lower abdominal distension, or constipation. Compression symptoms are also common when ovarian cancer has extensive pelvic and abdominal metastasis and there is a large amount of ascites.

The above are the more common symptoms of ovarian cancer explained by experts. I hope it will be helpful to everyone. If female friends have symptoms of ovarian cancer, they must go to the hospital for treatment in time to effectively alleviate the condition and recover health as soon as possible.
