What are the main causes of bladder cancer?

Bladder cancer is a very common disease in society, but because many patients do not understand the causes of bladder cancer , the disease has been spreading. What exactly are the causes of bladder cancer? Let's take a look at the causes of bladder cancer.

① Environment and occupation: It has been confirmed that β-naphthylamine, benzidine, 4-aminobisphenyl, etc. are carcinogens of bladder cancer. They are intermediate products in the manufacture of dyes or antioxidants in the rubber and plastics industries. Long-term exposure to these substances may be the cause of bladder cancer.

② Other tryptophan and niacin metabolism abnormalities can be the cause of bladder cancer, but other chronic diseases also have such abnormalities. Parasitic schistosomiasis in the bladder, leukoplakia, glandular cystitis, urinary stones, urine retention, etc. may also be the cause of bladder cancer.

Pathology is related to the tumor's tissue type, degree of cell differentiation, growth pattern, and depth of invasion, among which cell differentiation and depth of invasion are the most important. The tumor is most common on the lateral and posterior walls of the bladder, followed by the triangular area and the top, and can occur in multiple centers. Bladder tumors can be accompanied by renal pelvis, ureter, and urethra tumors either sequentially or simultaneously, which is also the cause of bladder cancer.

The spread of bladder tumors mainly infiltrates deep into the bladder, even to the tissues outside the bladder. Lymphatic metastasis is common. About 50% of the lymphatic vessels of patients who infiltrate the superficial muscle layer contain control cells, while almost all lymphatic vessels of patients who infiltrate the deep muscle layer contain cancer cells. When bladder cancer infiltrates the tissues surrounding the bladder, most of them have already metastasized to distant lymph nodes. Blood-borne metastasis is mostly in the late stage, mainly to the liver, lungs, bones, skin and ribs, etc. Poorly differentiated tumor cells are prone to infiltration and metastasis.

The above information is about the causes of bladder cancer. I believe you understand the causes of bladder cancer. After we understand the causes of bladder cancer, we must know how to control the spread of the disease in time. Here I wish you a speedy recovery.
