How to make clay pot rice without getting burnt

How to make clay pot rice without getting burnt

Making clay pot rice is relatively simple, and it can even be eaten as breakfast. It tastes quite delicious. However, some people always have problems with the rice getting burnt every time they make it, which is very regrettable. So how can one make clay pot rice without it getting burnt? You can put a layer of lard in the pot. This will not only prevent the pot from getting sticky, but also make the rice especially fragrant. In addition, after boiling over high heat, turning to low heat and simmering slowly will also effectively prevent the pot from getting burnt.

Ingredients: Main ingredients: rice, appropriate amount of marinated lean meat or sausage, etc.

Methods/Steps

Soak the rice. Wash the rice and soak it for 30 minutes to 1 hour, with the ratio of rice to water being 1:1.5.

Cook rice over high heat. While the water is boiling, you can stir it slightly with a spoon to prevent the rice from sticking to the pot too early; cover the pot and steam it over high heat. When a small part of the rice is exposed, you can turn to low heat.

After turning down the heat, quickly place the meat and cover.

Simmer over low heat. After covering and simmering for a few minutes, when you see less gas coming out of the casserole holes, remove the lid and turn to high heat.

Cook over high heat until dry, add oil and beat eggs. Pour a circle of cooked rapeseed oil along the edge of the pot, and use the appropriate amount according to your taste; arrange the blanched vegetables, beat an egg on the rice, cover and cook for two to three minutes. Almost done!!

(The oil pot can control the oil more accurately! At this time, the water must be dried quickly and delicious rice crust can be cooked at the same time. You can hold the casserole and cook it at an angle so that the casserole is heated more evenly.)

When the gas volume becomes smaller (or when you smell a bit of burnt rice), turn off the heat and you are done!

Precautions

The heat is very important. Abandon your subjective idea of simmering over low heat, and cook the clay pot rice over high heat!

The rice must be soaked. Pay attention to the smell.

I was lazy, I used sausage, no vegetables, and cut a salted egg. Doesn’t it look greasy? You can have a lighter one, haha!
