Why does water come out of the buttocks after moxibustion?

I believe that everyone pays great attention to their physical health. In daily life, if there are some problems, they will actively take measures to regulate them. Among them, acupuncture and moxibustion are very good methods for early prevention or regulation. Some people will have water coming out of their buttocks during moxibustion. People have great doubts about this. So what is the matter with water coming out of the buttocks during moxibustion?

The discharge of water from the buttocks due to moxibustion is mostly due to insufficient Qi in the buttocks.

[What problems will occur if women have insufficient meridian qi in their buttocks?]

Therefore, if the Du Meridian, Taiyang Meridian and Shaoyang Meridian in the buttocks of women have insufficient meridian qi and excessive yang and yin, they may experience dysmenorrhea, dark purple menstrual blood, blood clots, poor menstrual discharge, or sciatica pain in the waist, buttocks and lower limbs, numbness and weakness in the legs and feet, and other symptoms of qi stagnation and blood stasis.

If the cold and dampness enter through the buttocks and spread to the pelvic cavity, it can easily cause pelvic inflammatory disease, cervicitis, endometritis, vaginitis, urinary tract infection and other urinary and reproductive system diseases, leading to abnormal increase of female leucorrhea, yellow and sticky color, short and red urine, odor and itching in the perineum, and pain and soreness in the lumbar and sacral area. If cold and dampness block each other and phlegm and blood stasis accumulate in the uterus (ovaries), it will cause adhesions, cysts, myomas and other abnormalities in the uterus and its appendages.

The buttocks are located on the dorsolateral side of the human body, so the meridians passing through this area, such as the Du Meridian, the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, and the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian, are all Yang meridians; according to Chinese medicine theory, those who have damaged Yang meridians are mostly invaded by external evils such as cold and dampness, and internal injuries are definitely caused by insufficient Yang Qi.

Secondly, the buttocks are at the lowest point of the human torso and are close to the pelvic cavity. If the spleen yang is weak and water cannot be transported and transformed, or if the body is affected by cold and dampness, the pelvic cavity is most likely to be the place where dampness and turbidity accumulate.

Third, modern people mostly sit while working, sitting for long periods of time and moving little, which can easily cause poor blood circulation in the waist and buttocks and stagnation of blood.
