Mulberry leaf and loquat porridge 18 grams of mulberry leaves, 10 grams of loquat leaves, 100 grams of sugarcane, 30 grams of raw imperata root, 6 grams of mint, and 60 grams of rice. Wash and chop the above medicines, add appropriate amount of water, boil and extract the juice, add in glutinous rice and cook until the rice porridge becomes thick, and take it while hot. Take 1 dose daily for 3 consecutive days. Mulberry leaves, imperata roots, and mint clear away heat and promote salivation, loquat leaves soothe the lungs and relieve coughs, sugarcane and rice promote salivation and benefit the stomach. They are suitable for patients with colds who have heat in the lungs and stomach and are affected by wind-heat. 4. Onion milk drink 2 green onions, 30 ml breast milk (or milk). Wash and split the scallion whites, put them into a covered cup together with the breast milk, steam them over water and remove the scallions. Take 3 to 4 times a day for 2 to 3 days. 5. Lentil flower and Patchouli drink 20 grams of lentil flowers, 12 grams of patchouli, 10 grams of honeysuckle, and appropriate amount of white sugar. Wash the lentil flowers, patchouli and honeysuckle, add appropriate amount of water and boil them, season with sugar and drink. |
