How to remove grease from the bottom of an iron pan

The iron pan is a very commonly used kitchen utensil. It has many uses and is an indispensable cooking tool for every household. One characteristic of iron pans is that the bottom of the pan is easy to rust and produce thick grease, which makes the cooking effect worse the longer the iron pan is used. Therefore, the grease must be removed regularly. Let’s take a look at how to better remove the grease on the bottom of the iron pan.

First, use a kitchen knife or spatula to scrape off the thick layer of oil along the edge of the iron pan. Be sure to scrape hard until the oil is completely scraped off.

Scrape in different directions at the same time, left and right, with a flat blade. Remove the rust along the circle of the pot, then clean it with detergent and steel wool.

A newly cleaned iron pan is prone to rust. You need to wipe the pan clean with water or bake it dry to keep it dry. This will prevent it from rusting.

1. Add clean water to the pot, then put in some pineapple peels, heat for twenty minutes, take it out after it cools down, and the dirt stuck to the bottom of the pot will naturally disappear. You can remove the hard-to-wash dirt without any effort.

2. Wipe it with rosin water and toothpaste powder, or wipe it with a toothbrush or a sponge. The effect is very good, which is convenient and quick.

3. If there is a thick layer of burnt meat on the bottom of the pot, pour one-third of any type of vinegar and two-thirds of water into the pot, cover it and boil for five minutes. Soak it overnight and then gently scrape it with a butter knife or spoon to remove the burnt bottom.

4. If you are not waiting to use the pot, soaking it in warm water for a while can achieve twice the result with half the effort. It can be cleaned with ordinary cleaning methods. If you are waiting to use the pot, put it in water and heat it for a while, it can also be easily cleaned.

5. Use incense ash, wood ash, or charcoal. First, dip the bottom of the pot in a little water, then sprinkle dry ash evenly on the bottom of the pot, then rub it slowly with a steel wool, or you can use charcoal to scrub it.
