What kind of corn is spherical popcorn_What kind of corn can be used to make popcorn

Popcorn has always been a delicious snack that people love very much, especially when watching a movie, having a bucket of delicious popcorn can make you feel better and easier to immerse yourself in the movie. There are many types of popcorn. Although the taste is basically the same, the shape of the popcorn has a greater impact on the taste. Many people like to eat spherical popcorn. Let’s take a look at what kind of corn spherical popcorn is made of?

Common popcorn is called butterfly popcorn, and ball popcorn is produced from ball popcorn. These are two varieties, they look different but taste the same.

What kind of corn can be used to make popcorn?

There are three kinds of popcorn: one is made from corn, the second is rice, and the third is millet.

Common popcorn is made by putting corn, ghee and sugar into a popcorn machine. The principle of making popcorn is to put an appropriate amount of corn (or rice) into the popcorn pot and seal the top cover. Then put the popcorn pot on the stove and rotate it continuously to ensure even heating, then delicious popcorn can be popped.

This is because during the heating process, the temperature inside the pot continues to rise and the pressure of the gas inside the pot continues to increase. When the temperature rises to a certain level, the rice grains will gradually soften and most of the moisture in the rice grains will turn into water vapor. Due to the high temperature, the water vapor pressure is very high, causing the softened rice grains to expand. But at this time, the pressure inside and outside the rice grains is balanced, so the rice grains will not explode in the pot.

When the pressure in the pot rises to 4-5 atmospheres, the cover of the popcorn pot is suddenly opened, the gas in the pot expands rapidly, and the pressure decreases quickly, causing the pressure difference inside and outside the rice grains to increase, causing the high-pressure water vapor inside the rice grains to expand rapidly, instantly bursting the rice grains and becoming popcorn.

To make delicious popcorn, you need not only skilled techniques but also good raw materials, including corn, oil, sugar, etc. There are many different types of popcorn machines, and different machines produce slightly different results.
