Many people may find that in winter, there are more elderly people suffering from sudden cerebral infarction, and the threat to life is relatively large. Therefore, the patient's family members should pay more attention to the patient's daily living and diet. So what are the symptoms of sudden cerebral infarction? When a cerebral infarction occurs suddenly, the patient will have a sudden headache accompanied by vomiting; or the patient will experience black spots in front of his eyes and his movements will be restricted. 1. Symptoms of sudden cerebral infarction It is directly related to the location and extent of cerebral infarction. For example, most patients with lacunar cerebral infarction are asymptomatic. Small-area cerebral infarction in the cerebral hemisphere generally has symptoms such as headache, dizziness, limb numbness, slurred speech, limb movement disorders, facial paralysis, drooling, and coughing when drinking water. Large-area cerebral infarction in the cerebral hemisphere generally has sudden impaired consciousness and limb dysfunction, accompanied by nausea, vomiting, convulsions, incontinence, and other symptoms. Cerebellar infarction generally has symptoms of ataxia, such as unsteady walking and incoordinated speech. 2. Signs of cerebral infarction 1. Sudden headache If patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases suddenly develop headaches, or if their usual headaches suddenly become severe, or even accompanied by vomiting, they should be careful that a cerebral infarction may be occurring. Because clinically, many patients with cerebral infarction will experience headaches of varying degrees before the onset of the disease. 2. Darkness appears in front of the eyes Amaurosis refers to the sudden blurred vision or loss of vision, which is the most common symptom of cerebral infarction. After blackout occurs, the patient reaches a peak state within a few seconds and then begins to return to normal after a few minutes. This situation should be treated with caution. 3. Behavioral disorders The behavioral disorders here manifest themselves in many aspects, such as sudden aphasia and trembling hands. Some patients may suddenly become unable to speak, their tongue cannot be controlled, and they cannot pronounce words clearly. This is also due to insufficient blood supply to the brain, which causes disorders in the language center. 4. Constant yawning If you have been yawning frequently recently and there is no special reason, you should be highly vigilant. According to statistics, 80% of cerebral infarction patients will yawn constantly 5-10 days before the onset of the disease. 5. Abnormally high blood pressure This is reflected in patients with hypertension. If you find that your blood pressure suddenly rises to above 200/120 mmHg one day, remember that it is very likely a precursor to cerebral infarction. If your blood pressure suddenly drops below 80/50 mmHg, it is a signal of cerebral thrombosis. 6. Drooling unconsciously People often drool unconsciously at night and may even be woken up by choking while sleeping. Some patients with drooling may also have facial paralysis, such as crooked corners of the mouth or slurred speech, and unilateral limb discomfort. We need to comprehensively consider whether it is a cerebral infarction. |
