Symptoms of Raynaud's disease

Symptoms of Raynaud's disease

There are some diseases in life that we have never heard of, such as Raynaud's disease, which is a relatively rare disease that is more common in women. Therefore, female friends must pay attention to their physical health and must avoid such diseases. They often need to form a better routine in diet and exercise. What are the symptoms of Raynaud's disease?

The main patient group of Raynaud's disease is female friends aged 20-40. This disease not only brings great pain to patients, but also creates a heavy psychological burden on patients. Raynaud's disease generally goes through three stages during its course: pale stage, cyanotic stage, and flushing stage.

The most common site of Raynaud's disease is on the fingers, and the disease is symmetrical. The skin color changes in the order of 4-5-3-2. The cause of the disease is spasm of the peripheral arteries, which causes occlusion of the lumen and the beginning of nutritional changes in local tissues, resulting in ulcers or necrosis on the patient's fingertips.

Methods/Steps

Pale stage: An early manifestation of Raynaud's disease. When the patient is exposed to cold, the skin on the fingertips begins to turn white, and then develops to the base and upper part of the fingers. Generally, this symptom does not develop to the wrist. When the patient's condition attacks, the fingers, palms and feet will feel cold, accompanied by numbness and stiffness. The patient has difficulty flexing and extending his fingers, resulting in movement disorders. Some patients may also experience excessive sweating.

Cyanosis stage: A few minutes after the above symptoms appear, the patient's arterial spasm will disappear, but some small veins will still have spasm symptoms, hindering blood flow, causing slow blood flow and congestion, causing the patient's skin to turn pale and then turn blue.

Flushing phase: When the affected area of the patient is warmed, the cold is eliminated, the patient's vascular spasm will be relieved and eliminated, and the blood flow rate will increase, causing the patient's skin to flush. However, the patient's local temperature will rise at this time, accompanied by swelling and mild throbbing pain. When the blood flow rate returns to normal, the patient's skin color and symptoms will consciously return to normal.
