What are the symptoms of excessive fright

Fright is a manifestation of a person's psychological fear of things. It is normal for people to be afraid of terrible things because people have multiple abilities to understand things. So once you get scared, don't be too nervous and give yourself some time to recover. For people who are under a lot of work pressure, it is best not to get scared by anything as it can easily lead to heart disease. But what are the symptoms of excessive fright?

Over-fright refers to two very extreme reactions that are likely to occur when a person is frightened beyond the maximum limit that he or she can bear: direct collapse and loss of fear and terror. Most people will instinctively feel afraid when they encounter danger. This is normal and is also the body's protective function. However, the degree to which a person can withstand shock is limited. If the shock a person receives exceeds the maximum limit that he or she can withstand, two very extreme reactions are likely to occur. One is to collapse directly, living in fear every moment from then on and unable to continue with a normal life. This type is more miserable, and because they cannot sleep well or eat well, they often die of excessive fear before long. The other type is relatively better, they simply lose the emotion of terror and fear. No matter how terrifying the thing or how frightening the scene is, the person will not feel anything. In other words, from then on, the person will never be scared again. Such results are naturally mixed. The good thing is that they will not be afraid in the future, and can do many things that they did not dare to do before. However, because they have lost the emotion of terror and fear, such people may not be able to avoid danger in time because they are simply unaware of it.

First of all, you must be fully prepared mentally and spiritually for what you are facing. We must have some understanding of its nature, content, and basic situation, and have full estimation and foresight of various possible situations and consequences. Only when you know what you are doing can you stay calm, not panic and handle things with ease.

Second, you need to know yourself. Correctly analyze your temperament type, whether you are sanguine or phlegmatic, choleric or melancholic, so as to correctly judge whether you have the qualities and abilities to cope with the things you face, thereby strengthening your confidence. Even if you do not have the ability to cope with it, you will not have any psychological burden because it is caused by objective reasons. In this way, you can face things in a relaxed mental state. This is the so-called knowing yourself and knowing your enemy.

Third, maintain a good mental and physical state. Try to relax your mind as much as possible. People who are afraid of facing things often cannot eat or sleep, and are in a state of constant fear all day long, which is extremely harmful to their physical and mental health. To prevent this phenomenon from happening, you should not exaggerate the relationship between things and your personal future gains and losses. In addition, you should maintain good physical condition and avoid excessive fatigue. Excessive brain fatigue can cause dizziness, tinnitus, disorders of excitement and inhibition, decreased function of nervous activity, and increased psychological tension.

Fourth, keep your emotions stable. When people begin to face sudden things and things that are of great importance to them, they will experience drastic physiological changes, such as faster heartbeat, rapid breathing, shaking hands, and sweaty palms. This is caused by excessive anxiety and fear. This excessive tension causes the excitation and inhibition of brain nerve activity to lose balance, resulting in uncontrollable panic, uneasiness, and tension, and puts the thinking in an inhibited state. In fact, moderate tension is beneficial to people. It can further mobilize various functions of the human body, make thinking more active, and produce a strengthening effect.

Therefore, when you feel overly nervous, you must first build up your confidence and believe that you can completely overcome it. Then take deep breaths or count silently to divert your attention and stabilize your emotions.
