How to eat wild hazelnuts

1. Fried hazelnut kernels

Main ingredients: 100 grams of hazelnut kernels.

Seasoning: salt, cooking oil.

Preparation method:

Remove impurities from the hazelnut kernels, wash and dry them, then pickle them in salt water. After a few hours, remove from the water, fry in a pan until golden brown, and remove from the pan.

Note: Fried hazelnut kernels are rich in nutrients such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, etc., and have the effect of promoting salivation and moistening the throat. Suitable for diseases such as diabetes and dysentery.

2. Hazelnut and wolfberry porridge

Ingredients: 30 grams of hazelnut kernels, 15 grams of wolfberries, and 50 grams of polished rice.

Preparation method: First crush the hazelnut kernels, then add water and wolfberry to boil the juice, remove the residue and simmer it with rice into porridge over low heat.

Efficacy: Take 1 dose daily, on an empty stomach in the morning and evening. This porridge can nourish the liver and kidneys, improve eyesight and strengthen muscles. It is suitable for physical weakness, blurred vision, etc.

3. Hazelnut Soup

Ingredients: 15g hazelnut kernels, 30-50g lotus root starch, some sugar

Preparation method: First fry the hazelnuts until they turn yellow, but do not burn them. Grind them into fine powder and mix them into lotus root powder. Rinse with boiling water, add sugar and mix well before eating.

Efficacy: It is usually eaten as breakfast or snack at any time. It is suitable for people who are weak after illness, have little appetite, and are easily tired.

4. Hazelnut and Lotus Porridge

Put hazelnuts, lotus seeds and glutinous rice together and cook them into "hazelnut and lotus porridge". It not only tastes good but also is rich in nutrients. Cancer and diabetes patients can drink more of it.

5. Moroccan Hazelnut Fried Rice

1. Beat the eggs, add a little salt and fry them for later use;

2. Chop the green onions into small pieces and set aside for later use. Chop a few hazelnuts into small pieces (not too small), leaving a few intact ones for garnishing.

3. Put a proper amount of olive oil (half a tablespoon to one tablespoon, depending on your preference) in a non-stick pan, add half of the green onions and sauté until fragrant, then fry the diced carrots, and add the diced celery after about 3 or 4 minutes;

4. After frying for another 2 minutes, add the cooked Middle Eastern rice, add appropriate amount of salt, stir-fry for half a minute, then add hazelnuts (crushed and whole), fried eggs, cumin powder, bay powder and chili powder, stir-fry evenly;

5. Add the remaining green onions before serving.
