Summary of experience in treating thyroid cancer with traditional Chinese medicine

Our Chinese nation has many essences in the past five thousand years, and traditional Chinese medicine is one of them. The following is a summary of the experience I have collected in treating thyroid cancer with traditional Chinese medicine. I hope it can help everyone.

1. Heart and kidney yin deficiency: Toxic heat has not been completely eliminated, goiter recurs after surgery or radiotherapy, palpitations and shortness of breath, fever in the five parts of the body, dry mouth, fatigue, spontaneous sweating, night sweats, dizziness, mental depression, poor appetite, bowel and bowel disorders, dark red tongue with little coating, deep, weak and rapid pulse

Treatment method: Nourish yin and clear heat.

Prescription: 20 grams each of Pseudostellaria baicalensis, Polygonatum sibiricum, Radix Trichosanthis, and Herba Hedyotis diffusae, 10 grams each of Ophiopogon japonicus, Schisandra chinensis, Eclipta prostrata, and Acorus calamus, 30 grams each of Adenophora stellariae, Fructus Ligustri Lucidi, and Gypsum Fibrosum, 15 grams each of Epimedium brevicornum, Rehmannia glutinosa, and Uncaria rhynchophylla, and 25 grams of Sargassum.

Chinese patent medicine: Xihuang Pills, Elemene Injection, Antico Capsules, Lijia Tablets, and Anti-tumor Detoxification Capsules.

2. Qi stagnation, blood stasis and phlegm coagulation: The swelling in front of the neck is as hard as a stone, swollen and painful, and cannot be moved. There is chest tightness and shortness of breath, irritability, headache and dizziness, discomfort in breathing and swallowing, dark purple tongue with white greasy coating, and a stringy and rapid pulse.

Treatment method: Regulate Qi and resolve phlegm, promote blood circulation and disperse nodules.

Prescription: 10 grams each of Chuanxiong, Scutellaria baicalensis, Radix Trichosanthis, Curcuma zedoaria, Arisaema consanguineum, and pangolin, 15 grams each of Angelica sinensis, seaweed, and dried toad skin, 30 grams each of Salvia miltiorrhiza and Solanum nigrum, 20 grams each of Bletilla striata and Herba Prunellae.

3. Accumulation of toxic heat: a swelling in the front of the neck that grows rapidly, with burning pain, pain in the head and neck, coughing with yellow sputum, hoarseness, discomfort in breathing and swallowing, occasional nausea, loose stools, yellow urine, red tongue with yellow coating, and slippery and rapid pulse.

Treatment method: Clear away heat and detoxify, disperse stagnation and eliminate goiter.

Prescription: 10 grams each of aloe, green peel, inula flower, and sophora flavescens, 20 grams each of caraway, sophora flavescens, houttuynia cordata, trichosanthes, radix trichosanthis, wild chrysanthemum, and oldenlandia diffusa, and 30 grams each of Daihesan and magnetite.

4. Phlegm and poison accumulation: a hard and fixed swelling in the front of the neck, with occasional swelling and pain, which gradually increases in size. There is cough with a lot of sputum or scrofula on the neck. The tongue is gray with thick and greasy coating, and the pulse is stringy and slippery.

Treatment method: Resolving phlegm, softening hard masses, eliminating goiter and detoxifying.

Prescription: 15 grams each of kelp, konbu, cat's claw, seaweed, and Fritillaria cirrhosa, 10 grams each of tangerine peel, chuanxiong, and Dioscorea bulbifera, 12 grams each of Pinellia ternata and Citrus aurantium, and 30 grams of Ligusticum chuanxiong.
