What injection should I take for alopecia areata

Patients with alopecia areata suffer from long-term hair loss, which not only affects people's appearance, but also prevents people from working and living normally. Alopecia areata develops very rapidly, and the longer the time, the more difficult it is to cure. Therefore, if you find that you have alopecia areata, you must treat it as soon as possible in the early stages. Alopecia areata can be treated with topical medications, oral medications or injections and infusions. So what injections can be used for alopecia areata?

Conventional treatment

1. Nerve blockade therapy: After the greater occipital nerve is blocked, the skin temperature in the area it innervates rises, which is beneficial to hair regeneration in female patients with alopecia areata.

2. Photochemotherapy: Apply 0.5% 8-methoxypsoralen (8-MOP) tincture or cream to the alopecia areata. After 30-45 minutes, irradiate with long-wave ultraviolet rays for 15-30 minutes each time, 2-3 times a week. Gradually increase the dose of ultraviolet rays. When new hair grows, gradually reduce the number of treatments.

3. Physical therapy: local massage, ultraviolet irradiation, resonance sparks, audio electrotherapy, wax therapy, etc. can be used as appropriate. It can improve the skin of female baldness.

4. Tissue therapy: tissue burial, local burial of catgut, or intramuscular injection of placental tissue. It plays a certain role in controlling alopecia areata in women.
