Does cigar contain nicotine?

Cigars are a more elegant way of smoking. Since some people are more exposed to ordinary cigarettes, they think that cigars and cigarettes are two completely different things. In fact, cigars are a type of cigarette, but compared to ordinary cigarettes, cigars are made from pure natural tobacco. However, although cigars are natural, they still contain nicotine.

Cigars are a type of cigarette and are made from dried and fermented tobacco. The most important difference between cigars and ordinary cigarettes is that cigars are absolutely natural, without any chemical substances added, and the nicotine content in cigars is the lowest among all tobaccos, less than 2%, but cigars still contain nicotine and other substances.

The history of cigars can be traced back to 1492, when Columbus discovered cigars when he discovered the New World. In 1992, the limited edition cigar "1492 Cigar" produced in Cuba attracted countless cigar lovers to go crazy. It can be said that it was so popular that one cigar cost as much as HK$5,600 in Hong Kong. Smoking cigars is also different from smoking cigarettes and requires a lot of attention.

Cigars have a complicated etiquette:

1. First, the cigars need to be placed in a humidity chamber to adjust the temperature and humidity.

2. Secondly, the smoking end of the cigar is wrapped, so it must be cut with a cigar cutter before it can be lit. There are many types of cigar cutters, and the most popular one is the "guillotine type";

3. Once cut, you can't just light it casually. Cigars have very high requirements for the fire source, preferably natural. The most traditional way is to use a long-stem sulfur-free match, usually three inches long. It is better to use beechwood slices to light a cigarette oil lamp (the fuel is pure vegetable oil).

4. In addition, cigars are not inhaled. You can keep them in your mouth for a while and then exhale them slowly. It is also best to keep the ash, and don't flick it like you would a cigarette. This will make it taste better.

5. After finishing smoking a cigar, never put it out like a cigarette, otherwise the damn stench will torture your fragile nerves. Instead, place it in an ashtray and it will go out automatically.

In addition, the manufacturing of cigars is also very particular. From planting to maturity, tobacco farmers look after each leaf 150 times on average. It takes 5-6 years from planting to finished product. In the middle, it needs to be harvested, fermented, and aged for about a year before it can be manufactured.
