Is the freshly shaken honey real or fake

Honey is a nutritious product that is deeply loved by people. Honey is rich in nutrients. Regular consumption of honey is very helpful for whitening skin, increasing skin elasticity, and enhancing the body's immunity and disease resistance. Nowadays people particularly like pure and natural food, so many farmers' home-produced honey is particularly popular. Since the honey brewing process takes a certain amount of time, its price is higher.

Is the freshly shaken honey real or fake?

Experts say that many people mistakenly believe that honey produced by farmers is wild honey, but this is not the case. The so-called wild honey refers specifically to honey brewed by Chinese bees collecting nectar from a variety of flowers. The Chinese honey bee, also known as the native bee and the Chinese honey bee, is a bee species unique to China. Chinese honey bees collect nectar from a variety of flowers. They are difficult to raise, have a long honey-making cycle, and produce low yields. As a result, more and more beekeepers have given up on raising Chinese honey bees and turned to raising foreign varieties. According to rough statistics, 90% of the bees currently raised in my country are Italian honey bees introduced from abroad. In 2006, the Chinese honey bee was listed as a national-level livestock and poultry genetic resource protection variety by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Some counterfeiters pour the mixed fake honey into the wax board of the beehive in advance, and then shake the honey on the spot in front of customers. Generally speaking, real honey has a rich taste, a unique natural aroma, a slight irritation to the throat, and a long-lasting aftertaste; fake honey often has a monotonous sweetness, and a thin and short aftertaste.

How to distinguish the authenticity of honey

Look at the gloss and color:

The color of real honey is not very transparent. It is best to look light white when observed with the naked eye. Of course, there are also light yellow and amber colors. Fake honey is made from white sugar or syrup, so the color will be very bright and it looks clear and transparent. So when you are choosing honey, don't just buy it because it looks pretty, as it might be fake.

Check if honey contains water:

We can do an experiment: take a piece of white paper and drop a drop of honey on it. If it forms beads and does not seep out, it is real honey. If there is water, it will slowly seep out on the paper, which means it is diluted with water. The faster it seeps out, the more water is added.

Check whether honey contains starch:

Put a small amount of honey into a cup, add appropriate amount of water and boil it. After cooling, add a few drops of rice wine and shake well. If the solution turns blue, red or purple, it means that starch is mixed in the honey.

shake:

Real honey will produce a lot of bubbles when shaken in the summer. After leaving it alone for a while, the bubbles will disappear automatically.
