The human body needs to undergo normal metabolism every day in order to effectively excrete toxins from the body. However, some people have irregular lifestyles, which results in abnormal metabolism. This situation will be reflected on the person's face. The redness on both sides of the chin is a symptom caused by the accumulation of toxins in the human body. However, most people do not know what causes this. Next, I will introduce to friends the specific causes of the redness on both sides of the chin. The sebum secretion is vigorous, the pores are large, the skin color is darker, greasy, and easy to sweat; the skin is not easy to age and wrinkle; it is prone to acne, leaving spots and scars. When observed under a skin detector, secretions such as blackheads or whiteheads can often be detected. Factors that affect the secretory function of sebaceous glands include: gender and age, endocrine factors, skin moisture, diet and nutrition, etc. 1. Gender and age The secretory function of the sebaceous glands is strong at birth, drops to a very low level after 6 months, and remains at a low level during childhood. With the onset of puberty, the secretion of sebaceous glands of both men and women gradually increases, reaching a peak between the ages of 16 and 20, and then maintains this level. Sebaceous gland secretion begins to decrease in women around 40 years old and in men after 50 years old. 2. Endocrine factors The male hormones and adrenal cortex hormones in the human body can cause hypertrophy of the sebaceous glands. Secretory function is enhanced. Therefore, generally speaking, men's skin is oilier than women's skin, has a harder texture, and a thicker epidermis. 3. Skin humidity The humidity on the skin surface affects the secretion and diffusion of sebum. When the humidity on the skin surface is high, the emulsification and diffusion of sebum will become slow. When the skin is in a dry environment for a long time, the sebaceous glands will become overactive and abnormal oil secretion will occur. 4. Dietary factors Dietary factors can affect the secretion of sebaceous glands. Regular consumption of greasy food, spicy food, and high-sugar and high-calorie food can increase the secretion of sebaceous glands. 5. Seasonal changes In winter, due to the lower temperature, the sebum metabolism rate decreases, which will reduce sebum secretion. However, the changes in different components in sebum are different. The proportion of some components may increase, but the total amount is reduced. When the weather is hot in summer, the amount of sweat on the skin surface increases, which changes the surface tension of the skin and makes sebum more easily distributed on the face, so the skin appears oilier. The normal development and maintenance of sebaceous glands are necessary for the dynamic balance of the skin. When they atrophy and the lipid composition of sebum is destroyed, it will cause certain skin dysfunction. |
