What to do if there are fleas at home

Fleas are a very annoying species. They are usually found in homes with dogs or cats. They can also appear because of humidity in the indoor environment or lack of hygiene. Fleas can be cleaned using some methods, but many people still don't know what method is best for removing fleas. What should I do if there are fleas at home? Let’s take a look at it next.

1. 84 Disinfection Method

84 disinfectant is a common disinfectant in daily life. Even if you don’t have it at home, it will be available in supermarkets, and it is cheap. Dilute disinfectant with water in a ratio of 30:1, and then use the diluted disinfectant to clean the house. Especially some dead corners, such as beds, under sofas, and some inconspicuous corners. In this way, fleas will naturally not hide in the house.

2. Pesticide Law

This method is similar to the above method, except that the 84 disinfectant is replaced with insecticide. You can choose according to the conditions at home and try to make it simple and convenient.

3. Bedding and clothing cleaning method

Fleas often hide in bedding and clothing, so they need to be cleaned and exposed to the sun. The former achieves the purpose of cleaning, and the latter achieves the purpose of sterilization. If it is convenient, it is best to scald it with boiling water, which is more conducive to sterilization. After this series of steps, the bedding, clothes, etc. will be brand new. Obviously, such an environment is not what fleas like. You can then fall asleep peacefully and don't have to worry about the embarrassment and pain caused by itching when you go out.

4. Pet Cleaning Method

If you have pets at home, you must also be careful. Pets can be a caring little companion, or they can be the source of trouble in your life. We have to admit that fleas love living on pets. Therefore, pets need to be bathed and exposed to the sun regularly to effectively remove fleas and insect eggs hiding on their bodies.

5. Floral water method

You can apply some floral water on your body, especially on children, because they have poor resistance and are easily infected by the germs carried by fleas, causing disease. Therefore, applying some floral water can play a preventive role and also keep your baby refreshed during the summer.

6. Ventilation method

Open doors and windows frequently to ventilate your home, which can help keep your home environment fresh.
