How to deal with live crayfish

When people eat crayfish, they usually buy fresh crayfish, and most of the fresh crayfish are alive, because crayfish are relatively easy to raise. After we buy live crayfish in the supermarket, we can store them at home for a while, but when processing the shrimp, we must remove the shrimp thread. So how to deal with live crayfish?

To prepare the lobster:

1. The lobsters you buy are usually still alive. Place the lobster on the chopping board, hold down its head with your hand, and use scissors to cut a slit along the back.

2. Try to cut to the end, and then make the seam wider;

3. Turn the lobster over. There is a small hole at the tail. Insert a straw or a small stick into it and slowly pull it out. The intestines will be pulled out along with the stick. At the same time, dark liquid will flow out. These are all the dirt in the lobster's body. If you don't clean it up, it will affect the taste.

At this point, the lobster is cleaned and other ingredients are prepared.

The lobster's hard armor is intimidating, and many people are afraid to kill it. In fact, as long as you master the basic skills, you can easily handle lively lobsters at home.

method:

Hold the lobster by its back. Place the lobster with its belly facing outwards and insert a chopstick from the urinary opening of the shrimp to near the head. Remove chopsticks and drain. At this time, the lobster stopped moving.

The large claws can be removed first very easily. Open the lid on the front. Clean and remove the gills.

Remove the stomach sac growing on the head. Remove the brain (can be used to make lobster brain egg custard) and the lobster is basically clean. You can also cut it into pieces as needed.

Steps to cut lobster into pieces: Use scissors to cut open the softer shell on the abdomen. Then use a knife to cut open the back. After the main part of the lobster is processed, you can continue to cut it into pieces or bake it directly according to the dish you want to make.
