The proliferation of anaerobic bacteria is a prerequisite for the treatment of anaerobic infections. (1977) found that metronidazole is more effective than clindamycin and lincomycin. This drug is cheap and has no serious complications even with long-term use. Metronidazole can not only be taken orally (500 mg, three times a day) and by enema (1-2 g each time), but also has recently been developed in China as an intravenous preparation, 0.5% 100 ml, for intravenous drip 2-3 times a day. The role of oral metronidazole and intravenous metronidazole in preoperative preparation for colon surgery has proven that both methods can effectively reduce wound infection rates.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
