The spleen plays a very powerful role in traditional Chinese medicine. Therefore, using the method of strengthening the spleen through meridians can help people strengthen their qi and blood, and can also prevent many diseases. Generally speaking, if you want to keep your body healthy, you need to deliver fresh qi and blood into your body in time and transmit it to various parts of the body to keep the blood in a flowing state without accumulation, so that the body will not get sick. In fact, any disease is caused by blood stasis in the human body, and the spleen has the two major functions of generating and transporting fresh qi and blood. As long as you take good care of your spleen, you will be immune to all diseases, and even if you are sick, you will recover quickly. The spleen meridian of foot Taiyin starts at Yinbai point and ends at Dabao point, with 21 points on each side. The Si hour, from 9:00 to 11:00, is the time when the spleen meridian is in season, and it is also the time when grass moves and snakes crawl. At the 9:00 p.m. every day, all the qi and blood in the body are concentrated in the spleen. Diseases that the spleen meridian prevents and treats: 1. Digestive system diseases: indigestion, diarrhea, dysentery, and constipation. 2 Gynecological diseases: dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, early or late menstruation, pelvic inflammatory disease, and adnexitis. 3. Men's diseases: acute and chronic prostatitis and edema. 4Other diseases: unexplained pain throughout the body, arthritis, and muscle and soft tissue diseases along the meridians. Sit upright, cross your knees, make an empty fist, and use the metacarpophalangeal joint end to tap from the knee joint down along the inner side of the calf, close to the inner edge of the tibia, from top to bottom to the ankle joint, using moderate force. It is best to tap each side for ten minutes. You can strike as many times as you like within two hours. Many people will experience two obvious pain points on the inner side of their calves when tapping the spleen meridian for the first few times. The pain is especially obvious in people with abdominal distension, diarrhea, fatigue, loss of appetite, poor immunity, scanty or heavy menstrual flow, and those who are thin or fat. These two pain points are acupuncture points. One is the Diji point, which is located three inches (four horizontal fingers) below the knee joint, and the other is the Sanyinjiao point, which is located three inches above the tip of the medial malleolus and on the inner edge of the tibia. Diji acupoint is a Xi point of the spleen meridian. Xi points are places where meridian qi gathers and are effective in treating acute diseases. Xi points of yin meridians are good at treating blood disorders, while Xi points of yang meridians are good at treating acute pain. The spleen belongs to the earth element, and "Di Ji" as the name suggests, is the organ of the earth. Therefore, if the Qi and blood in the Di Ji acupoint flow smoothly, the function of the spleen will gradually return to normal. Many diseases can be cured by the spleen meridian: 1. Sanyinjiao acupoint - the most important acupoint in gynecology and also the longevity point. Sanyinjiao acupoint is located on the inner side of the calf, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, and at the posterior edge of the inner side of the tibia. Sanyinjiao point is a close friend of female friends, because most gynecological diseases can be treated through Sanyinjiao point. Of course, it can also treat other diseases: 1. Treat dysmenorrhea. For female friends who have dysmenorrhea problems, they can start about one week before their period and spend a few minutes every day massaging the Sanyinjiao acupoint until a sore and swollen feeling is produced at the acupoint. In addition, you can also use moxa sticks for moxibustion: light the moxa sticks bought from the pharmacy and place them near the acupuncture points, until the local skin is warm but not burned, and moxibustion each point for 10 minutes. It should be noted that you should not stimulate this point strongly after menstruation, otherwise it may cause increased menstrual blood flow. 2. Tighten facial muscles. After the age of 40, you should regularly massage the Sanyinjiao points on both legs for 20 minutes each to strengthen the spleen. Only when the spleen functions well can the muscles not become loose! 3. It can lower blood pressure. Sanyinjiao point is an intelligent regulating point. When you suffer from high blood pressure, between 11:00 and 13:00 noon every day, when the Heart Meridian is in season, vigorously massage the Sanyinjiao points on both sides for 20 minutes each. After two or three months, you will see a significant blood pressure lowering effect. 4. Treat senile constipation. Massaging the Sanyinjiao point can increase intra-abdominal pressure, intensify gastrointestinal function, promote smooth bowel movements, and is very effective in treating senile constipation. Press the Sanyinjiao point with the tip of your thumb on one side and rub it gently until you feel a sore and swollen feeling. Press and rub for 1 minute on each side. 2. Taibai Point - An important point for strengthening the stomach. Taibai Point is located in the depression behind the protruding bone at the inner root of the big toe. This acupoint is one of the important acupoints on the spleen meridian of the foot Taiyin. Massaging this point regularly every day is very effective for stomachache, loss of appetite and abdominal bloating. 3. Yinlingquan Point - An important point for treating diseases of men and women. Bend your knees and find it on the inner side of your calf, in the inner depression at the end of the tibia. Massaging this point can strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, and regulate the liver and kidneys. It has a good effect in treating abdominal pain, abdominal distension, difficulty urinating, enuresis, spermatorrhea, irregular menstruation and other symptoms. Use the spiral surface of your thumb to press on the Yinlingquan acupoint and continue to press hard for about 1 minute. |
