How to use disposable masks

Disposable masks are generally suitable for people working in electronics factories or other factories. This type of mask is generally made of non-woven fabrics. This type of mask has strong filtering properties, but because it is disposable, it cannot be washed and must be discarded after use. Disposable masks often have very good air permeability, can filter a considerable number of toxic and harmful gases, and have certain thermal insulation properties.

Do not reuse disposable masks. Generally it needs to be replaced every 6 to 8 hours. The outer layer of the mask often accumulates a lot of dust, bacteria and other dirt from the outside air, while the inner layer blocks the exhaled bacteria and saliva. Therefore, the two sides cannot be used alternately, otherwise the dirt contaminated on the outer layer will be inhaled into the human body when it is directly against the face, and become a source of infection. When the mask is not worn, it should be folded and placed in a clean envelope, with the side close to the mouth and nose folded inward. Do not put it in your pocket or hang it around your neck.

If the mask is wetted by exhaled hot air or saliva, its effectiveness in blocking germs will be greatly reduced. Therefore, it is best to have a few extra masks ready for replacement. Pull up the upper edge of the mask to cover your mouth and nose. Pull the two upper straps behind your ears and tie them tightly on your head. Do not tie them on your ears. Use the index fingers of both hands to press the metal wire at the root of the nose on the upper side of the mask to make it fit tightly against the skin of the nose. Then gradually move your index fingers to both sides to make the entire mask fit close to the facial skin. After taking off the mask, wrap it in tape or a paper bag, then dispose of it in a covered trash can, and wash your hands immediately.

It should be noted that since disposable masks are made of non-woven cotton, the fibers are often arranged in one direction, which makes the mask very easy to tear, so the ability is not good. However, disposable masks have very strong elasticity and are easy to restore after being stretched. The price is relatively low, and they are often produced and used in large quantities.
