My head feels tight

My head feels tight

The feeling of tightness in the head is likely caused by mental tension or too much mental pressure. If you don't sleep well, it will cause autonomic nervous system disorders. Therefore, you must develop good life habits, adjust your mentality, ensure adequate sleep, participate in more outdoor sports, and communicate more with friends. This will generally relieve the symptoms of a tightness in the head.

What is the sign of dizziness?

1. It is a nervous system disease

Such as cerebral ischemic lesions, cerebellar lesions, brain lesions, brain trauma, certain types of epilepsy, etc. In addition, patients with autonomic dysfunction and certain neuroses often feel dizzy.

2. It is an ear disease

Sometimes dizziness may be caused by ear diseases that affect balance.

3. It is a medical disease

Dizziness may also be caused by medical diseases, such as hypertension, hypotension, various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, hypoglycemia, etc.

4. It's a cold

Common colds can also cause dizziness.

5. Cervical vertebrae degeneration

Due to long-term poor posture or sleeping posture, the cervical vertebrae will grow, deform, and degenerate, the neck muscles will be tightened, and the arterial blood supply will be blocked, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain. This is the main cause of dizziness. The neck is often tight, with limited flexibility, occasional pain, numbness, coldness, and heaviness in the fingers.

6. Anemia

If dizziness is accompanied by fatigue and pale complexion, the possibility of anemia should be considered. Under healthy conditions, the amount of hematopoietic tissue, quality and quantity of hematopoiesis in the elderly have decreased, and the aging of red blood cells themselves makes their utilization of iron much lower than before. Therefore, if the elderly do not pay attention to nutritional health, they are likely to suffer from anemia. In addition, patients with indigestion, peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding and chronic inflammatory diseases may all develop anemia.

7. High blood viscosity

Hyperlipidemia, thrombocythemia and other conditions can increase blood viscosity and slow blood flow, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain, and easily leading to symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and weakness. There are many reasons for hyperlipidemia, the most important of which is the unreasonable dietary structure. Patients eat a lot of high-fat and cholesterol foods and do not like to exercise. Currently, the incidence of this type of disease is on the rise.

8. Cerebral arteriosclerosis

The patient feels dizzy and often suffers from insomnia, tinnitus, emotional instability, forgetfulness, and numbness in the limbs. Cerebral arteriosclerosis reduces the inner diameter of cerebral blood vessels, reduces blood flow in the brain, causes insufficient blood and oxygen supply to the brain, and causes dizziness.

9. It is the early stage of heart disease and coronary heart disease

The symptoms are still mild. Some people may not have obvious discomfort such as chest tightness, palpitations, shortness of breath, etc., but only feel headache, dizziness, weakness in the limbs, difficulty concentrating, tinnitus or forgetfulness. The main reason for dizziness at this time is atherosclerosis of the coronary arteries of the heart, which causes the lumen to become thinner and narrower, resulting in ischemia and hypoxia of the heart. Insufficient blood supply to the heart can cause insufficient blood supply and lead to dizziness.

Prevention of dizziness symptoms

1. Actively participate in physical exercise. Those with poor physical fitness can improve their physical fitness, and those who are obese can enhance the circulation of Qi and blood, and accelerate the excretion of water, dampness, phlegm and fluid.

2. The diet should be simple and easy to digest. It is not advisable to consume irritating foods such as tobacco, alcohol, strong tea, coffee, leeks, peppers, garlic, etc.

3. Winter melon, radish, taro, arrowhead mushroom, ground chestnut, red bean and millet have the effect of resolving phlegm and promoting diuresis, and can be used as auxiliary treatment.

4. Do not drink too much water and pay attention to the intake of foreign proteins, such as fish, shrimp, eggs, crabs, milk, etc.

5. During the attack period, you should rest in bed to prevent injuries from falling when standing up. Reduce head turning.

6. The bedroom should be dimly lit and the environment should be quiet.

7. Keep a good mood and avoid excessive seven emotions (joy, anger, worry, thinking, sadness, fear, and surprise).
