Yogurt recipe for fruit salad

Fruit salad is a very popular fruit dessert in daily life and can be found in every street corner. The fruit salad contains a variety of fruits and is topped with delicious yogurt, which is very appetizing. The fruits in the fruit salad sold in the market are basically fixed. If you want to eat your favorite fruits, you can only make it yourself at home. Today I’d like to introduce to you the yogurt recipe for fruit salad for you to choose from.

Ingredients: 1L pure (fresh) milk 1 small packet of yogurt powder 1 yogurt machine 1 yogurt bucket (or cups)

Steps:

1. Boil the water and scald all objects that will come into contact with the milk with boiling water to kill other bacteria and prevent them from affecting the fermentation of the bacterial powder. Items that need to be sterilized include: yogurt machine bucket (or cups), chopsticks, bowls, spoons, etc.

2. Pour pure (fresh) milk into a bowl and add the bacterial powder. If not dividing into cups, pour the milk directly into a stainless steel vat. Fresh milk (shelf life of 7 days) can be used, and pure milk (the ingredient list only contains raw milk) can also be used.

3. Use sterilized chopsticks to stir the bacterial powder evenly until it is no longer visible. If it is made in a stainless steel barrel, it can start fermenting here.

4. Pour the powder into each cup one by one. It is best to pour half of the powder into each cup first, and then pour the other half after pouring half of the powder to avoid uneven distribution of the powder.

5. Put some warm water in the yogurt maker in winter to help fermentation. In the summer, you can choose to drink it or not, just put it in cup by cup. 6. Turn on the power. Fermentation takes 8-11 hours in winter and only 6-8 hours in summer. The longer the time, the sourer the yogurt. During the fermentation period of yogurt, it cannot be moved or shaken, so put it in a place where it will not get in the way.

7. When the yogurt is ready, immediately move the cups (stainless steel barrels) to the refrigerator for more than 4 hours to passivate. No matter how thick the yogurt is, it will become thinner the more you stir it.

Tips

First of all, choose low-fat yogurt. High-fat yogurt is often too thick and doesn't look good. Second, the fruit you choose should not be the kind that produces a lot of juice, because this will dilute the yogurt. For example, watermelon cannot be used to make fruit salad. Third, yogurt itself has a certain sour taste, so the fruit you choose should be sweeter to taste better.
