What are the effects of rootless vine

3. Functions and indications : Clearing away heat and dampness, cooling blood and stopping bleeding. Used for colds and fever, malaria, acute icteric hepatitis, hemoptysis, epistaxis, hematuria, urinary tract stones, and nephritic edema; used externally to treat skin eczema and multiple furunculosis.

4. Single-ingredient prescription

1. Treatment of infectious hepatitis: 10-15 grams of fresh rootless vine and 10-20 grams of mushroom, decocted in water and taken orally.

2. To treat dysentery: 15g each of Rhizoma Coptidis and Herba Glehniae, 9g of Cinnamomum camphora, decocted in water and taken orally.

3. Treatment of diabetes: 15 grams of fresh rootless vine, 9 grams each of red bean and Yamlea (decoction), decocted in water and taken orally.

4. To treat spermatorrhea: 15 grams of rootless vine, 1 Allium wilfordii, 1 Phoenix Cloth, decocted in water, 1 dose per day, for 3 consecutive doses.

5. To treat habitual nosebleed: 15 grams of Rhizoma Imperatae (calcined black) and 30 grams of Imperatae rhizome, decocted in water and taken orally.

6. To treat urinary obstruction: Take 60 grams of Rhizoma Cibotii, decocted in water and taken orally. 7. To treat damp-heat causing kidney failure: 15 grams each of rootless vine, herringbone grass, horsetail silk, 7 fig leaves, 30 grams of wax gourd, decocted in water and taken orally.
