Persimmon is a very common fruit. We usually eat it in spring and summer. However, some people like to freeze persimmons outside in winter so that they can eat frozen persimmons, which has a unique flavor. However, many people worry that eating too many persimmons will affect their bodies and cause side effects. In fact, as long as they are not eaten at the same time as pears, it will not cause too much harm to your body.

Since persimmons are difficult to transport and store, they are usually placed outdoors in the winter and frozen into ice at extremely low temperatures. This is called frozen persimmons, and then they are transported and stored. Because frozen persimmons are extremely hard, they are usually placed in water before eating. Through heat exchange, the temperature of the frozen persimmons rises, softening them and making them easier to eat. This process is called thawing persimmons. The taste of thawed frozen persimmons is very different from that of unthawed frozen persimmons. Some people eat the cold and hard frozen persimmons directly, which has a different flavor.

If the persimmons are not yet ripe, you can use a cardboard box and put some green apples or pears in it to help the persimmons ripen. This method is also very good.

Persimmon has high nutritional value and is rich in sucrose, glucose, fructose, protein, carotene, vitamin C, citrulline, iodine, calcium, phosphorus, iron and zinc.

The tannic acid in persimmons can form compounds with calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron and other minerals in food that cannot be absorbed by the human body, making these nutrients unusable. Therefore, eating too many persimmons can easily lead to a deficiency of these minerals. Because persimmons contain more sugar, people will feel fuller after eating persimmons than eating the same amount of apples or raw pears, which will affect appetite and reduce the intake of regular meals. It is generally believed that if you are not on an empty stomach, it is best not to eat more than 200 grams of persimmons each time. Persimmons contain more pectin and tannins. The above substances can react chemically with stomach acid to form insoluble gel blocks, thus forming gastric stones.

Unripe fruits contain tannins. Persimmons contain a lot of carbohydrates, with 10.8 grams per 100 grams of persimmons, mainly sucrose, glucose and fructose, which is why everyone feels that persimmons are sweet. Fresh persimmons are high in iodine, which can prevent and treat endemic goiter.

Persimmons are rich in pectin, a water-soluble dietary fiber that has a good laxative effect. It is very effective in correcting constipation and maintaining normal intestinal flora growth. Manual laborers should eat more large tomatoes: they have anti-inflammatory and detumescent effects, can improve blood circulation, and promote the recovery of tendon inflammation and trauma.
