People eat grains. In real life, we live in the mundane affairs, and it is inevitable that there are worries and feelings that we cannot let go. Especially when being verbally attacked or treated unfairly by others, it is inevitable that one cannot suppress the psychological collapse in his heart, and he becomes angry, even shaking with anger. This is clearly punishing yourself for the mistakes of others, so why is your whole body shaking when you are angry? Thirteen years ago, I had a dispute with my neighbor and was beaten. I also lost the lawsuit and was filled with anger. That night, my whole body was shaking, especially my head and upper limbs. I shook once every one or two hours and it took about half an hour to stop. It is especially obvious when the sky is cloudy or when one is shocked. He sought medical treatment everywhere, but to no avail. He became completely hopeless and believed that there was no cure. He stopped seeking medical treatment for several years. Recently, I suffered from abdominal pain due to anger, so I came to the outpatient clinic. His face was slightly blue, his head and hands were shaking constantly, his tongue was pale red, and his tongue coating was thin white. The patient was found to have fullness and pain in the chest and flanks, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, bitter taste in the mouth, no appetite, normal bowel movements, and pain in the lower abdomen when urinating. Chills and fever at dusk, easy to be startled, and poor sleep at night. Menstruation is normal, but vaginal discharge is heavy. Abdominal examination showed no tenderness below the heart, but resistance under both ribs, especially on the right side, and palpitations and pain at the navel. The pulse feels stringy and thin. Observing his pulse and symptoms, I know that the abdominal pain is caused by Jia wood invading earth, and liver and stomach disharmony. His old illness was also caused by the seven emotions, and anger hurts the liver. "Su Wen•Discussion on Raising Pain" says: "Anger causes the Qi to rise." "Su Wen•Zhi Zhen Yao Da Lun" says: "All kinds of dizziness and vertigo belong to the liver." Dizziness means shaking, that is, trembling, which is a sign of the movement of the liver's wood wind. Now the liver wood is rebellious, and there are intermittent abdominal pains. The treatment should be to soothe the liver and stomach, and relieve the pain. As for chronic illness, Wu can use it to calm the liver and extinguish wind, which does not go against the intention of the prescription. Isn't it killing two birds with one stone? Modified Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction: 12g of Bupleurum, 10g of Scutellaria, 10g of Pinellia, 15g of Poria, 6g of Chuanjun, 6g of Cassia Twig, 30g each of Longgu and Muli, 15g of White Peony Root, 6g of Licorice, two doses. Second diagnosis: After taking the medicine, the patient had diarrhea several times, the abdominal pain was relieved, the vomiting and nausea stopped, the palpitations stopped, and he was able to sleep well at night. The tremors only occurred once in more than ten days. The patient begged for water and got wine. He was overjoyed. He wanted more and asked for the patient to stop trembling. So he was given three doses of the original prescription. Third visit: No tremors for more than a month. Do you need to take medication? After the diagnosis, I did not write any prescription for him, but told him that being content and not arguing, and being generous and forgiving are the best ways to cure the disease. Note: For 13 years, my head has been shaking, my hands have been dancing, not to mention the pain in my body. Just from the stares of passers-by and the pointing of people around me, I have felt the pain in my heart. Now I am seeking treatment for my abdominal disease. I have taken five doses of medicine for a week, and my old disease has even been cured. The sick is happy, and I am happy too. Teacher Li Yinghuai's comment: Tremor is a liver disease, a sign of wind, and a difficult disease to treat. Clinically, most patients present with deficiency or mixed deficiency and excess syndromes, with fewer excess syndromes. This case was caused by liver fire and wind, not liver wind due to deficiency of yin and blood, so it recovered in a short period of time. Original text review Article 107 of Treatise on Febrile Diseases: If a patient with typhoid fever has been taking purgatives for eight or nine days and has chest fullness, restlessness, difficulty urinating, delirium, and a feeling of heaviness all over the body and inability to turn over, Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction is the main treatment. Various Discussions "Shang Han Lai Su Ji": Take half of the Bupleurum to eliminate half of the chest fullness and restlessness; add red lead, dragon fruit, and oyster shell to calm the heart, Poria to promote urination, and Rhubarb to stop delirium; Cassia twig is a mistake for licorice. If there is no fever and no external symptoms, cinnamon twig should not be used. If licorice is removed, the harmonious medicine will not be formed; if ginseng is not removed when there is restlessness and delirium, it is because of the fright. "Yi Fang Ji Jie": Chaihu Decoction is used to relieve restlessness and fullness, and Poria cocos, dragon bone, oyster, and red lead are added to calm the spirit and calm the nerves; Poria cocos and oyster can promote the flow of body fluids and facilitate urination, and rhubarb is added to expel stomach heat and stop delirium; cinnamon twig is added to promote the flow of yang energy, and Chaihu is combined to disperse external evils and relieve heaviness in the body. Licorice is removed because of fullness. "Selected Annotations of Ancient Prescriptions": Bupleurum is a yang-inducing medicine that raises yang, while rhubarb is a yin-enhancing medicine that goes to yin. Ginseng and licorice help the spirit of Yangming, which is why it benefits the weak heart. Poria, Pinellia, and ginger activate the pivot of Shaoyang and Sanjiao, which is why they open up the heart. Dragon bone and oyster enter the yin to capture the spirit and calm the soul of the eastern Jia wood, which is why they calm the heart. The dull nature of dragon bone and oyster can be made effective by the addition of cinnamon twig. When evil enters the body and causes restlessness and fright, and phlegm and qi are solidified in the yin, they can be eliminated by using red lead. As for the evil floating in the heart meridian, it can be transferred to the Taiyang meridian through the Shaoyang pivot, thus achieving the goal of pacifying the country and repelling external attacks. |
