Some patients often have a relapse of the cold just after recovering from it because of going out in cold weather, not keeping warm enough, or accidentally catching a cold when washing their hair, taking a bath, or changing clothes. Just as it is said in the Ming Dynasty's "Zheng Zhi Hui Bu · Shang Feng": "If a weak person catches a cold, it will recur repeatedly." Clinically, the course of a cold caused by physical weakness is often long (often more than 1 week). In severe cases, it can induce the patient's chronic illness or aggravate his or her original illness. - Clinical practice has confirmed that traditional Chinese medicine is effective in treating colds caused by physical weakness. The treatment method is not simply to eliminate evil and relieve symptoms but also to use tonifying methods. It not only focuses on the treatment of the patient's symptoms, but also pays attention to the patient's conditioning after the illness and prevention before the illness.

Qi deficiency type: Symptoms include weak constitution, loose muscles, excessive sweating, lack of energy, reluctance to outdoor activities, and weak pulse. Treatment should be aimed at invigorating Qi and strengthening the exterior. The representative prescription is Yupingfeng Powder (15 grams of Astragalus, 12 grams of Saposhnikovia, and 10 grams of Atractylodes). You can add 12 grams of yam, 10 grams of oyster, and 10 grams of Pseudostellaria to make a decoction.
