Whiteheads are the acne we least want to see. Because whiteheads are very difficult to treat. If you don't pay attention, you will get acne on your face. But we can't just let whiteheads grow randomly. So, is there any method that can help us eliminate whiteheads? Today I will recommend some quick methods to remove whiteheads. What are whiteheads? Whiteheads, also known as whiteheads, are closed comedones (the opening of the hair follicle is covered by the stratum corneum and sebum cannot be discharged), that is, comedones that are still in the skin and have not yet "peeked out". Whiteheads are common on the face and sometimes on the chest and back. They are tiny subcutaneous fat plugs that appear as hemispherical white bags the size of rice grains. They are hard in texture and have no symptoms. It is mainly composed of dead bacteria and body secretions and generally takes two months to form. Causes of whiteheads There are two main types of factors: external factors and internal factors. (I) Internal factors: 1. Excessive secretion of androgen: This is the main reason. Especially during adolescence, excessive secretion of androgen in males and females is the main cause of acne. Androgens can directly stimulate the increase of sebaceous glands, promote the keratinization of hair follicles, clog the pores and cause inflammation, resulting in the formation of acne and pimples. 2. Related to women’s menstrual cycle: For some women, acne worsens before menstruation. It is mainly related to changes in hormone secretion. 3. Internal diseases or functional disorders: lesions of organs such as the stomach, kidneys, and liver, especially gastrointestinal dysfunction and constipation can induce the occurrence of acne. 4. Mental stress, excessive fatigue, lack of sleep, etc. 5. Overeating greasy, spicy and sour foods and sweets. (ii) External factors: 1. Improper cleaning: causes pores to be clogged and bacterial infection. 2. Squeezing, picking, and improper needle picking: Some people squeeze acne and cause bacterial infection. 3. Use inferior cosmetics, such as dual-purpose powder, foundation, etc. 4. Ultraviolet rays and certain chemicals, etc. How to effectively remove whiteheads 1. Gentle exfoliation Blackheads are not pimples, but pores where oil and keratin accumulate. Therefore, use a mild exfoliator to remove old keratin, open the pores, and allow oil to be discharged normally. This is a relatively simple and effective method, but it is only effective for shallow acne. For deeper acne, it can be squeezed out through cosmetic techniques. 2. Deep Cleansing Enhanced effect: This mask absorbs oil and deeply cleanses the pores, making them clean and clear, and acne is easily removed. For example, deep-sea mineral mud and natural clay have a cleansing effect, which can make surface acne float to the surface, remove it through facial washing, and shrink pores. 3. Almond slices facial mask Take an appropriate amount of almond slices, cut them into slices, wash the affected area with warm water before going to bed every night (do not use soap or soap), and then rub the affected area repeatedly with ginkgo slices, scraping off the used parts while rubbing. Use 1-2 pills each time, usually 7-10 times will produce results. 4. Cherry branches and leaves facial mask Take 50 grams each of fresh cherry branches and leaves, fresh peach branches and leaves, 40 grams each of fresh locust tree branches and leaves, fresh willow branches and leaves, and 2-3 fresh pig gallbladders. Chop various branches and leaves, add water and boil them, add pig bile, and fumigate the affected area. Take 2-3 times a day, using 1 pig gallbladder for each dose. In addition to removing whiteheads through facial masks, you also need to pay more attention to prevent whiteheads from recurring. 5. Steam your face to remove whiteheads Before cleansing your face, open your pores first to allow for more thorough cleansing of the skin. If you don’t have a facial steamer, you can also boil a pot of water and let your face stay in the hot steam for about 10 minutes. Of course, using a hot towel to compress can have the same effect, but if you use a hot compress, try to extend the time as much as possible, 15 minutes is more appropriate. 6. Eggs and honey to remove whiteheads Honey's antibacterial and antiseptic properties make it a great skin-clearing weapon. You can apply a small amount of honey on the whiteheads, then gently pat the whiteheads. After 10 minutes, wash it off with warm water. Of course, you can also mix it with eggs, which will give better results. Pour a medium-sized egg white into a bowl, then add a teaspoon of honey, stir well and apply it on your face. Wash it off with warm water after about 30 minutes. |
