Medicine for treating nerves

Medicine for treating nerves

Nowadays, many people suffer from neurological problems due to excessive stress. In this case, they need to relieve their emotions in time. If psychotherapy cannot cure this disease, it is best to take some neurological medications. So, what drugs can treat neurological problems? This will be introduced below!

1. Anti-anxiety drugs

Anti-anxiety drugs, also known as weak tranquilizers, have the effects of reducing anxiety, stabilizing mood and improving sleep. In order to prevent and treat drug addiction and reduce side effects, two or more drugs are generally used alternately.

2. Calmness

What kind of hypnotic drugs can relieve sleep disorders caused by neurasthenia? In addition to the anti-anxiety drugs introduced above, sedative hypnotic drugs are often used, and several drugs need to be rotated or used intermittently.

3. Beta-blockers

Patients with neurasthenia often experience sympathetic nervous system hyperfunction, such as tension, palpitations, tremors, sweating, etc., which often increase their mental burden and are not conducive to recovery. What medicine can be taken to relieve these symptoms of neurasthenia? Beta-blockers such as propranolol can be used.

4. Analgesics

Analgesics have a certain relieving effect on neuralgic headaches caused by neurasthenia, and are also one of the commonly used drugs for the treatment of neurasthenia.

Treatment of neuralgia also requires the use of carbamazepine, phenytoin sodium, etc. These drugs have stronger analgesic effects. Patients can take them in appropriate amounts before and after the onset of the disease. However, long-term and large-scale use will cause damage to the liver and kidney functions of the human body. Patients need to check their liver and kidney functions regularly while taking the drugs. If drug therapy is not effective, surgery may be considered to relieve symptoms. There are certain risks in surgical treatment, so everyone needs to be careful.

5. Medication for neurasthenia

In addition to the ones introduced above, what medicine is good for neurasthenia? Common ones include tricyclic drugs, weak stimulants and tonics, as well as oryzanol and traditional Chinese medicine.
