How to judge your nose shape

Nose type classification:

(1) Greek nose: also known as straight nose, its characteristics are narrow, long and straight nose bridge, high nose root, therefore, the nose bridge is not obviously concave, the nose tip is sharper, and the base of the nose is horizontal. The Greek nose is nearly a straight line from the forehead to the tip of the nose, and is straight and long. Both the Greek nose and the Roman nose are branches of the European nose. Venus's nose is the epitome of nasal beauty. The Greek nose is recognized as the most beautiful nose shape in the world.

(2) Roman nose: The root of the nose is slightly sunken, and a ridge is formed at the nasal bone of the bridge of the nose, which then goes straight down or continues in a slight curve.

(3) Jewish nose: also known as eagle nose. The main feature of this type of nose is that the nose is particularly large. Often used to describe witches.

(4) Wave-shaped nose: The nasal bridge is wavy, and the nasal bones and nasal cartilage are uneven.

(5) Lion nose: The nose base is low, the nose wings are large and full, and the nose tip is raised.

(6) Saddle nose: The nose has a low, flat root and a saddle-shaped curve. This type of nose is very common and is one of the uglier noses.

(7) Bulbous nose: The tip of the nose is enlarged and bulbous. Asians generally have flat noses and unclear eye contours, so if you want to make your face look more three-dimensional, it is important to modify your nose. Some people would consider rhinoplasty, but in fact a simpler method is to use makeup to modify the inherent imperfections of the nose.

1Standard nose shape

The ideal external nose length is 1/3 of the face length. The nose tip is generally 6 to 7.5 cm, and the ratio of nose length to nose tip is 1:0.67.

Generally it cannot be less than 9 mm, 12 mm for men and 11 mm for women, and the tip and bridge of the nose protrude 1 to 2 mm.

When the nose tip and chin are connected in a straight line from the side, the upper lip is 2 mm apart and the lower lip is 1 mm apart. Ideally, the columella is 95 to 100 degrees to the philtrum, and the tip of the nose is 30 to 45 degrees to the columella.
