Technology 1

Cupping areas: Bladder meridian, Ashi points.

Operating procedure: The patient lies on his back and looks for reaction points on the back, such as sensitive points, cord-like nodules, red or brown spots. After routine disinfection, use plum blossom needles to tap along the bladder meridian and Huatuo Jiaji points on both sides of the spine from T3 to T10. Then focus on tapping the reaction points until the skin flushes and bleeds slightly. Then use the flash fire method to cupping and leave the cup for 5 to 10 minutes. Treatment is given every other day, and 5 times constitute a course of treatment.

Technology 2

Cupping area: Ashi point.

Operation procedure: The patient lies prone and looks for reaction points on the back, such as sensitive points, cord-like nodules, red or discolored spots. After the reaction point is determined, the skin is routinely disinfected and the skin at that point is pricked with a two-edged needle. Continue to pick and cut the subcutaneous tissue, and white fibers can be seen. Pick several roots at a time until they are cut off. Be careful not to pick too deep, generally 0.2 to 0.3 cm. After picking, use the thumbs and index fingers of both hands to squeeze out the bleeding or use cupping to expel the blood. After finishing, wipe off the blood stains with an alcohol cotton ball and put a Band-Aid on the pinhole. Treatment is given once a week, and 5 times constitute a course of treatment.

Technology Three

Cupping areas: Liver Shu and Gaomang points.

Operating procedures: routine disinfection, use a medium-sized three-edged needle to prick the above acupoints 0.1 to 0.2 inches, then use a medium-sized glass jar to cupping the punctured area using the flash fire method, leave the cup for 5 to 10 minutes, and remove the cup after the blood stasis has coagulated into lumps. Suitable for liver depression and phlegm stagnation type. Treat once a day, 10 times as a course of treatment.
