Many people have experienced symptoms of itchy skin. Some itchy skin will heal on its own without treatment, but for patients with urticaria, the relief of itchy skin symptoms does not mean that the disease has been cured. The best way to treat urticaria is to take medicine. So what medicine can cure urticaria quickly? In fact, there are both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatments for urticaria, and patients can choose according to their actual situation. 1. Home medication (1) Oral medication: Commonly used vitamin C 0.2 g, taken orally twice a day. Rutin 20 mg, orally 3 times a day. Anti-allergic drugs, commonly used are Antalol 25 mg 3 times a day or diphenhydramine 25 mg, orally 3 times a day. You can also take 2-4 mg of cyproheptadine orally 3 times a day. For stubborn cases, the combined use of 4 mg of promethazine 4 times a day and 200 mg of cimetidine 4 times a day has better results. The new drug Astemizole, 10 mg, taken orally once a day, has been used in recent years and has significant effect in treating chronic urticaria. For patients with extensive skin lesions, 10 ml of 10% calcium gluconate can be injected intravenously once a day. If laryngeal edema, breathing difficulties or severe conditions occur, 0.5-1.0 ml of 0.1% adrenaline should be injected subcutaneously immediately. (2) Topical medications: 1% phenol calamine lotion or 1% bohe tincture is commonly used for external application 3-4 times a day. 2. Chinese medicine and folk remedies (1) Take 30g each of Kochia scoparia seeds and duckweed and 9g of cicada shells, decoct in water and take once a day. (2) Take 30 grams each of peach leaves and mugwort leaves, 15 grams of alum, and 9 grams of salt, decoct them into a decoction for bathing, 1-2 times a day. (3) Take 15g each of Xanthium sibiricum, Schizonepeta tenuifolia, and Saposhnikovia divaricata, and 1 scallion, decocted in water and taken once a day. 3. Nutrition and diet: A light diet is recommended, and spicy foods such as fish, shrimp, crab, mutton, and alcohol should be avoided. Precautions 1. Patients should pay attention to allergens. If they are allergic to a certain food or medicine, they should stop using it immediately and try to avoid contact with suspected allergens. 2. Cut your nails short and avoid scratching hard, otherwise it may cause a significant increase in skin lesions and severe itching. 3. To keep bowel movements smooth, those with constipation can take 2 fruit laxative tablets and drink an appropriate amount of senna leaves with boiled water 2-3 times a day. 4. The room should be kept clean and dry. Flowers are not allowed to be placed in it, and chemicals such as Lysol and DDT should not be sprayed to avoid allergies. 5. When patients undergo desensitization treatment, they must do so in the hospital, and emergency drugs such as epinephrine, phenergan, dexamethasone and oxygen must be prepared for timely rescue. 6. Drivers and workers working at heights are prohibited from using anti-allergic drugs such as chlorpheniramine, diphenhydramine, and Antalol while working to avoid accidents caused by dizziness and drowsiness. |
