Pumpkin Allergy Symptoms

1. If the baby has an allergy, the milder symptom is that the baby feels itchy, tight and uncomfortable skin and keeps crying. In this case, it is usually not easy for parents to find out. They just know how to coax the baby, but they can't stop the baby from crying. When the baby cries too hard, his skin becomes hot and he will feel more itchy and will keep scratching his face with his little hands. If parents notice that the baby keeps scratching his face while crying, they should be alert and think about whether the baby is allergic. They should take the baby to see a doctor as soon as possible for diagnosis.

2. More serious allergic symptoms include redness, flaking, swelling and even eczema on the baby's skin. The general symptoms include flushing of the cheeks, nose and earlobes, moist ear canals, ear pain, nasal congestion, sneezing, dark circles under the eyes, swollen and drooping eyelids, headaches, dry lips, dry skin or sweating, wrinkles at the corners of the eyes or palms, abdominal pain, diarrhea, bloating, constipation, eczema on the arms, legs or joints, recurrent infections, chronic cough, asthma, shallow, rapid or irregular breathing, disordered pulse, increased blood pressure, tight joints, etc.

3. If the baby has skin allergies, in addition to the obvious symptoms on the skin, the baby's emotions will also be abnormal. For example, the baby may cry or scream continuously, be unable to eat or need to be fed constantly, be irritable or extremely lethargic, have difficulty falling asleep or be sleepy, refuse to be held, shake his head, etc. Older babies may have inexplicable temper tantrums, be overly active, jump around, hit the bed, get tired, curl up in dark corners such as under tables and chairs, under the bed or inside furniture, refuse to be touched, be unwilling to dress or undress, etc.
